Flexible panel formwork system for all requirements
on small building sites ... ... as well as for large construction projects.
Photo left: perfectly designed concrete surfaces
using MAXIMO at the PERI branch ofce in
Viersen.
Since its launch in 1986, PERI TRIO has
developed into the worlds most suc-
cessful panel formwork system. Argu-
ments such as few different panel sizes
or only one single connecting part, the
BFD alignment coupler, have set bench-
marks in the industry.
PERI MAXIMO panel formwork
The MX tie is installed from one side only which makes the MAXIMO
particularly cost-effective. Cellar of a single-family house in Buchenberg/
Vorderburg, Germany.
The neat joint and tie arrangement allows construction of concrete surfaces
of the highest quality.

With the development of MAXIMO,
PERI has justied its role as technologi-
cal market leader.
This independent formwork system
- fully compatible to TRIO - fulls the
highest requirements regarding cost-
effectiveness and achievable quality of
workmanship.

Tie installation Preparation
The conical-shaped MX Tie rod is also
set in the concrete when lling the
formwork. Due to the special form,
spacer tubes and cones are not re-
quired. This saves materials and the tie
can be installed and removed consider-
ably quicker.

The tie hole is protected against any impact
through a metal ring. The Sealing Sleeve seals
the tie point and prevents any concrete bleeding.

al DW 15 and DW 20 systems can be
used as well as the MX tie technology.

MAXIMO tie point.
MAXIMO does not require any edge
ties, all tie points are always engaged.
With conventional panel formwork, all
unused edge tie points must be
closed.
Additional work is frequently necessary
due to unclosed tie holes:

Freeing the tie points in the panel

which have been plugged with con-
crete.

crete surfaces affected by bleeding.

heights from 30 cm up to 3.30 m as
well as 5 widths from 30 cm to 2.40 m
in 30 cm increments. In addition, a
45 cm wide panel is available which
greatly reduces the use of ller plates.

Time saving
through the reduced number of tie points
Conventional formwork PERI MAXIMO
tie point savings
Comparison: PERI MAXIMO vs.
conventional panel formwork
Apart from the time advantage due to
the MX tie being operated from one
side only, the reduced number of tie
points has a positive effect on the per-
formance factor.
MAXIMO

requires up to 40% fewer ties

Maximo fulls the high demands re-
garding the atness.
The high rigidity of the panels ensures
only minimum deection and distortion
as well as being a guarantee for a high
level of concrete surface evenness.
In spite of the low number of required
ties, concreting can still be carried out
quickly with MAXIMO.
Due to the centrically-
positioned arrangement,
up to 40% fewer ties
are required.
PERI MAXIMO | 9
Time saving
through low site personnel requirements
For the construction of concrete
walls with panel formwork, the two
formwork elements facing each other
must be anchored.
MAXIMO
With the innovative tie system of
the MAXIMO panel formwork ele-
ments, tie operations take place af-
ter a one-off basic assembly of the
wingnut on the placing formwork
always from one side only. Thus,
one less worker is required the
performance factor is reduced by
approx. 40%.
Conventional formwork
For conventional systems, one
worker is required on each side of
the formwork for this working step.

son is available at:

Working scaffold is not required
resulting in more savings
Due to the fact that ties are installed
from one side only, additional safety
measures such as working scaffold
for the placing formwork are not nec-
essary which saves both time and
money. This is of great importance
particularly for high formwork.

Improved concrete nish
through a neat joint and tie arrangement
Designing concrete surfaces
Systematically, cost-effective, simple
A frequent request of building owners
and architects is the realisation of spe-
cial wall surfaces without any large ad-
ditional work and expense using an ef-
cient panel formwork system.
PERI MAXIMO is the panel formwork
with centrically arranged tie points for
each panel. This results in a regular joint
arrangement - horizontally as well as
vertically.
Concrete surface design with the MX
grid arrangement
With the possibility to select from a
range of panel combinations, this pro-
vides more creative freedom and thus
more design options - cost-effectively
realised with PERI MAXIMO.
Example: MX tie arrangement Stack
