NoMoreProcrastination

The following suggestions are designed to motivate


you to finish mundane and important tasks.
I now stop procrastinating and get things done on time.
I will get tasks done in a timely manner from now on. I am willing
and able to set goals for myself and stick to a schedule to meet them. I give
my attention to all important matters, whether personal or profes-
sional. I am responsible for tasks I need to perform. I stop delaying
what needs to be done. I can handle any task. I can choose to perform
any activity without delay.
When I see something needs to be done, I act immediately. I feel
relaxed about undertaking small and large tasks, knowing that I can
handle them efficiently and effectively. I will get more done in my life.
Things I know I need to do, I dotaking each task step by step. I
break large tasks down into smaller ones and perform each step one
at a time. So instead of feeling overwhelmed, I feel relaxed and confi-
dent to start any project. Some tasks may be less pleasant than oth-
ersbut I know that the sooner I start any task, the sooner I will be
finished with it. I want to start now so that I can finish. I want to fin-
ishso that I can forget about it and move on to a task I enjoy.
I picture myself in my kitchen. There are many dirty dishes that
need to be cleaned by hand. Although Id rather go read a book or
watch television, I decide to begin cleaning the dishes, one by one. At
first the task looks overwhelmingbecause there are so many dirty
dishes. But I find great satisfaction as I clean each dish one by one,
reducing the dishes remaining to be cleaned. As I wash each dish I get
more and more satisfactionbecause I know that soon I will have com-
pleted the whole task. Its a task that needs to be done and it is for my
own welfare. And now I see myself cleaning the last dish. As I do, I
realize how good it feels to get the whole task out of the way. The task
was not as large as I had imagined, and I handled it efficiently and
effectivelyand now I can go read my favorite book, watch TV, or do
something else I enjoy to reward myself.
I stop procrastinating now. I can handle each and every situation life
hands me. Day by day Ifeel more capable of handling all of my responsi-
bilities. I make the choice tohandle each task in an efficient, timely
manner. There is time for everything that I need to do as well as for
the things I want to do.

The following suggestions are designed to build
feelings of self-confidence in all general areas of life.
I feel totally self-confident in everything I say and do.
I am comfortable with new tasksas I decide to feel self-confident now.
I remain calm and relaxed in every situation as I learn to choose self-
confidence now. I feel less and less tense and allow my true personality
to shine forthwhen I grow more and more self-confident. My body
becomes stronger, more poised, and healthier as I gain self-confidence now.
Every day and in every way my life will improve as my self-confidence
increases now. I relax and trust my abilities and my intelligencewith
total ease and perfect confidence . People no longer make me nervous or
cause me to doubt myself because I armor myself with self-confidence.
I am able to enjoy any activity with total concentration and effort
as I feel strongly self-confident . As I develop this easygoing attitude about
myself, my focus is on whatever I am doing or whatever I have to
sayrather than on myself. I relax and think more clearly as I build
self-confidence now. I undertake new activities without fearletting
go of anxiety as I feel totally self-confident. I release the fear of fail-
ureas self-confidence becomes my new way of being. All negative
thoughts wash away as they are replaced now with belief in myself. I no
longer allow anyone to walk all over me because the self-confidence I
feel enables me to stand up for myself. My self-respect increases
greatly as self-confidence fills me.
I picture myself after this hypnosis session getting up and feeling
stronger, more powerful, and very confident. I see myself walk across
the roomand I carry myself with newfound self-respect. I look in the
mirror at myself. I look like a different person. My posture is good; my
face shows an expression of pure confidence. I look like I am relaxed
and confidentcomfortable and self-assured.
By the time I read the number five in the Wake-Up, I will act
as though I am playing a part in a movie. I am playing a totally self-
confident charactersomeone who is relaxed and absolutely sure.
I will pretend that I am very powerful whenever I speak or act. I will
act as if I am absolutely confident. And as I pretend to be confident,
moment by moment I will find that confidence has become a real
part of my personalityI always feel very confident now.
