Durood Shareef are equivalent and give full benefits, but some selected and very promptly

accepted and favoured Durood Shareefs are the following:-

1. DUROOD-E-IBRAHIMI
ALLAHUMMA SALLI ALA MUHAMMADIW WA ALA AALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA
SALLAITA ALA IBRAHIMA WA ALA AALI IBRAHIMA INNAKA HAMIDUM MAJID.
ALLAHUMMA BAARIK ALA MUHAMMADIW WA ALA AALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA
BAARAKTA ALA IBRAHIMA WA ALA AALI IBRAHIMA INNAKA HAMIDUM MAJID.
O Allah, let our !lessings come upon "uhammad and the family of "uhammad, as you have blessed
#brahim and his family$ %ruly, ou are &raiseworthy and 'lorious$ Allah, bless "uhammad and the
family of "uhammad, as you have blessed #brahim and his family$ %ruly, ou are &raiseworthy and
'lorious($
%he famous companion of the &rophet )sallal laahu alaihi wasallam*, +adrat ,a-ab bin ./rah )radi
Allahu anhu*, narrates that once it was enquired from Sayyiduna 0asoolullah )sallal laahu alaihi
wasallam* as to how blessings should be sent to him$ %he &rophet )sallal laahu alaihi wasallam*
replied that the blessings be said in the manner )it has been mentioned* above, that is, Durood-e-
#brahimi$
2. DUROOD-E-NAHARIYA
ALLAHUMMA SALLI ALA SALAWATAN KAMILATAW WA SALLIM SALAAMAN
TAAAMAN ALA SAYYIDINA MUHAMMADINIL LAZI TANHALLU BIHIL UQADU
WATAN FARIJU BIHIL KURABU WA TUQDA BIHIL HAWA IJU WA TUNAALU BIHIR
RAGHAAAIBU WAHUSNUL KHAWATIMI WA USTASQAAYAL GHAMAMU
BIWAJHIHIL KAREEMI WA ALAAA ALIHI WASAHBIHI FI KULLI LAMHATIW WA
NAFSIN BI ADADA KULLI MALUMIL LAKA YAAA ALLAHU YAAA ALLAHU YAAA
ALLAHU.
O Allah1 2very moment and in every breath, bestow complete and the best blessings and perfect
peace which is endless on "uhammad, our master, and on his descendants and his 3ompanions, and
may, for +is Sa4e, all our troubles and tortures be over, calamities ended, and all our needs fulfilled,
all our cherished desires attained, and good ends vouch-saved, and clouds are laden with water
through the glorious countenance of &rophet$ %he perfect blessings and peace on the &rophet-s +ouse,
his 5amily and his 3ompanions every instance in number equal to the count of all things in %hy
,nowledge($
Durood-e-6ahariya is a great power$ #f it is recited daily, it will give such strength and power to the
reciter that no one on earth will be able to subdue him$ #t is a grand success in all the affairs of the
world$ #f this Durood Shareef is recited during days of calamities, Allah %a-ala will help the reciter from
the quarters un4nown to the human beings$ %he reciter will be able to cross every barrier of handicap
safely and soundly$ #n every worldly affair, in every trial and tribulation, success will be his net income$
3. DUROOD-E-FATH
ALLAHUMMA SALLI WASALLIM WABARIK ALA SAYYIDINA MUHAMMADINIL
FAATIHI LIMA UGHLIQA WAL KHAATIMI LIMA SABAKA WAN NAASIRIL HAQQA
BIL HAQQI WAL HAADI ILA SIRAATIKAL MUSTAQEEMI SALLAL LAAHU ALAIHI WA
ALA AALI WA ASHABIHI HAQQA QADRIHI MIQDAARIHIL AZEEM.
O Allah1 "ay %hy grace, peace and blessings rest on "uhammad, our "aster, who opens that which is
closed, and closes that which is preceded, who helps truth with truth, and who guided man4ind to %hy
straight path$ "ay blessings of Allah be on him and his 5amily and 3ompanions as according to his
e7alted position befitting his merit and his high ran4($
Actually, this Durood Shareef is in the +oly 8uran9 but then it was 4ept a secret$ +adrat Abu-!a4r
Siddique )radi Allahu anhu*, the first 3aliph of #slam, used to recite it daily without fail$ Some
narrations say that it is because of this Durood that he was awarded the title of Siddique( which
means %estifier to the %ruth($
+adrat Abul "uqqarab )radi Allahu anhu* says that a man-s total sins will be washed away if he recites
Durood-e-5ath for forty days continuously$
+adrat Shai4h "uhammad !a4ari )radi Allahu anhu* says that the recitation of Durood-e-5ath once a
day relieves the reciter from the 5ire of +ell$
+adrat Syed Ahmed +illam )radi Allahu anhu* says that Durood-e- 5ath was the most favourite routine
of +adrat 'haus-e-A:am, Shei4h Abdul 8aadir ;ilani )radi Allahu anhu* of !aghdad Shareef$
%he great Saints also say that Durood-e-5ath is actual and real light$
+adrat Shei4h usuf !in #smail )radi Allahu anhu* says that this Durood Shareef is the greatest
mystery of Allah$ #t brings <==> success and happiness to the reciter$ #n fact, this Durood Shareef
brings prosperity and favour and solves all the comple7 problems by the 'race of Allah$ ?hen a man
recites this Durood Shareef, the Angels of Allah surround him, mercy covers him and peace starts
descending on him$
4. DUROOD-E-SHAFII
ALLAHUMA SALLI ALA MUHAMMADIN KULLAMA ZAKARAHUZ ZAAKIRUNA WA
KULLAMA GHAFALA UN ZIKRIHIL GHAFILUN.
O Allah1 Shower blessings on "uhammad and his children whenever he is remembered by those who
remember him, and shower blessings on "uhammad and family whenever he is not remembered by
the negligent, and grant him peace constantly in abundance($
%his Durood Shareef is called Durood-e-Shafi-i because +adrat #mam Shafi-i )radi Allahu anhu* used to
recite it constantly and he received glad tidings of ;annah in this world$ %his Durood Shareef is of a
very great significance$ #t brings tremendous prosperity, health, happiness and success in this and the
ne7t world$
+adrat Allama Sa4havi )radi Allahu anhu* has written in his boo4 that Abdullah bin Abdul +a4am saw
+adrat #mam Shafi-i )radi Allahu anhuma* in a dream after his death and inquired about life after
death$ #mam Shafi-i )radi Allahu anhu* told him that because of the continuous recitation of the above
Durood Shareef, Allah %a-ala gave him the most e7alted position of the highest grade in +eaven and
forgave him$ +adrat #mam "u:ni )radi Allahu anhu* has also narrated e7actly the same story$
%his Durood Shareef is of a very great significance$ #t brings tremendous prosperity, health and
happiness and success in this world and the Aa4irah$
5. DUROOD-E-DAWAAMI
ALLAHUMMA SALLI ALA SAYYIDINA MUHAMMADIW WA ALA AALI SAYYIDINA
MUHAMMADIN ADADA MA FI ILMIL LAAHI SALAWAATAN DAAIMATAN
BIDAWAAMI MULKILLAH.
O Allah1 Shower blessings on "uhammad, our master, in the number that is in %hy 4nowledge such
blessings as may continue for ever eternal as %hy ,ingdom($
%his Durood Shareef is of a very great value$ #f it is recited only once, it amounts to all the rewards of
all the Duroods$ !y reciting this Durood, one gets peace of mind and success in this world as well as in
the ne7t$ After reciting this Durood Shareef, the reciter can claim that he has recited almost all the
Duroods which are in this world 4nown to the people$ During days of upheavals, this Durood Shareef
brings relief, success and true happiness$ #t is mostly the Saints and very pious people who recite this
Durood after every prayer$ %hey also recommended this Durood Shareef to all the needy$
6. DUROOD-E-TUNAJJINA
ALLAHUMMA SALLI ALA SAYYIDINA WA MAULANA MUHAMMADIW WA ALA AALI
SAYYIDINA WA MAULANA MUHAMMADIN SALAATAN TUNAJJINA BIHA MIN
JAMIIL AHWAALI WALAFAATI WA TAQDILANA BIHA MIN JAMIIL HAAJAATI
WATU TAHIRUNA BIHA MIN JAMIIS SAYYI AATI WATAR FAUNA BI HAA ALAD
DARAJAATI WATU BAL LIGHUNA BIHA AQSAL GHAAYAATI MIN JAMIIL
KHAIRAATI FIL HAYAATI WABADAL MAMAATI INNAKA ALA KULLI SHAY IN
QADEER.
O Allah1 Shower blessings on "uhammad, our "aster, and his 5amily such blessings by means of
which %hou may relieve us of all an7ieties and calamities$ %hou may satisfy all our needs$ %hou may
clean us of all evils and than4s for which %hou may grant us high position and high ran4 and status in
%hy presence, and %hou may lead us to the utmost limit of our aspirations and capacity in whatever is
best in this world as well as in the world +ereafter, as %hou has the full &ower over everything($
%his Durood Shareef is always a cure for all calamities in the world of worldly affairs$ #t was taught by
Sayyiduna 0asoolullah )sallal laahu alaihi wasallam* himself$ %o recite this Durood Shareef @= times
during days of calamity, turmoil and trouble, is a must$ #t wor4s wonders$
%he great Scholar, Saint, ;urist and author, #mam ibn-5ai4ihani )radi Allahu anhu* says that there was
once a pious man called Shei4h "oosa Aareer )radi Allahu anhu*$ +e embar4ed on a voyage by ship$
Due to a heavy storm, the ship started sin4ing$ All the passengers on board started crying and
clamouring, but Shei4h "oosa Aareer )radi Allahu anhu* went to sleep$ +e saw the +oly &rophet )sallal
laahu alaihi wasallam* in his dream and the &rophet )sallal laahu alaihi wasallam* directed him and the
passengers to recite Durood-e-%una//ina < === times$ Shei4h "oosa Aareer )radi Allahu anhu* got up
and started the recitation$ As soon as he finished B== Durood Shareefs, the storm subsided and the
ship was saved$ %he other ship on the high seas san4, but this ship reached its destination safely and
soundly$ %his miracle was a sufficient eye-opener for the members of the ship$ #t was by the 'race of
Allah %a-ala and Durood-e-%una//ina that all were saved$
All the Saints have unanimously given verdict that Durood-e-%una//ina is the best cure of all ills and all
calamities of this world$
7. DUROOD-E-QURAANI
ALLAHUMMA SALLI WASALLIM ALA SAYYIDINA MUHAMMADIW WA ALA AALI WA
ASHABI BI ADADA MA FI JAMIIL QURAANI HARFAN HARFAN WABI ADADI KULLI
HARFIN ALFAN ALFAN.
O Allah1 Send your blessings and peace on "uhammad, our "aster, and on his &rogeny and his
3ompanions according to the number of every letter in 8uran and let each letter carry thousands of
blessings and salutations in it($
%his Durood Shareef is a very sacred one$ #f it is recited after every prayer, it is said that the reciter
will receive the Sawaab equivalent to the recital of the entire +oly 8uran$ After reading the verses of
the +oly 8uran, this Durood Shareef should be recited B times$
8. DUROOD-E-SADAQAH
ALLAHUMMA SALLI ALA MUHAMMADIN ABDIKA WA RASOOLIKA WA SALLI ALAL
MUMINEENA WAL MUMINAATI WAL MUSLIMEENA WAL MUSLIMAATI.
O Allah1 Shower %hy blessings and beneficence on "uhammad, %hy creature and %hy
"essenger, and shower beneficence on all men of faith and women of faith, and "uslim men
and "uslim women($
%his Durood Shareef is a special one$ +adrat Abu Saeed ,hudri )radi Allahu anhu*, a close companion
of the +oly &rophet )sallal laahu alaihi wasallam*, says that Sayyiduna 0asoolullah )sallal laahu alaihi
wasallam* said: ?hoever does not possess wealth to give in charity, should recite this Durood in his
Du-a$ #t will become a source of )spiritual* cleanliness for him($+adrat Abu +uraira )radi Allahu anhu*
says that the +oly &rophet )sallal laahu alaihi wasallam* said: Allah has said, C#f you spend # shall
spend on you-($ %his means that if you spend your money on others D the poor, sic4, needy and the
orphan D Allah will give you in abundance$ !ut, what if a man has nothing to give in charityE !y
reading Durood-e-Sadaqah, it will suffice$
9.DUROOD-E-WAI
ALLAHUMMA SALLI ALA MUHAMMADININ NABI YIL UMMI YI WA AALIHI
WABAARIKWASALLIM.
O Allah1 Send blessings on "uhammad, our chief the unlettered Apostle and his 5amily %hy
favours and thy Salutations($
+adrat Shah ?ali-ullah Dehlvi )radi Allahu anhu* said that his father commanded him to recite the
above Durood Shareef as it was the best one$
+adrat Abu +urairah )radi Allahu anhu*, a close companion of Sayyiduna 0asoolullah )sallal laahu
alaihi wasallam*, has said that if a person recites this Durood eighty times on 5riday )after evening
prayers*, then his sins equivalent to F= years will be forgiven$
%his is a very important Durood Shareef which brings forth immediate success and satisfaction to the
heart and the mind$
+adrat Aarar bin Au:ar )radi Allahu anhu*, another companion of the +oly &rophet )sallal laahu alaihi
wasallam* says that he used to recite this Durood Shareef and fight with the non-believers$ #n every
battle, he saw that success 4issed his feet, and he never lost any battle on any day$

ALLAHUMMAJ AL SALAWAATIKA WA BARAKAATIKA ALA MUHAMMADININ NABI YI
WA AZWAAJIHI UMMAHAATIL MUMINEENA WAZURRIYATIHI WA AHLI BAYTIHI
KAMA SALLAYTA ALA IBRAHIMA INNAKA HAMEEDUM MAJEED.
O Allah1 !estow blessing and bounty on our &rophet and on his wives, who are the "others of the
5aithful, and on his descendants and on the members of his +ousehold in the manner as %hou
conferred blessings on &rophet #brahim$ Gerily, thou art the &raiseworthy and the 'lorious($
+adrat Ali )radi Allahu anhu* said that if any one wishes that he should get the ma7imum reward for
one Durood alone, then he must recite the above Durood Shareef$
