The Spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ – Conversions in The Book of ACTS

Acts 21:20 Paul, Luke, James Jerusalem How many (zealous)

(Acts 26:29 – Paul’s trial; Acts 27:37 – 276 people in the shipwreck; 28:1-10 Malta leaders and islanders )
Acts 28:31 – And he stayed two full years… welcoming all who came
to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching concerning the
Lord Jesus Christ with all openness, unhindered.
WITNESSING POINTS:
This accounting does not include all that these new believers – Jews and
Gentiles brought to The Lord, or the congregations being established by
the other disciples during the same time. It doesn’t include those that
were receiving and being influenced by all of Paul’s letters in the New
Testament, AND those letters written to “the churches” were not written
to branches of the LDS church, as they know it. “Church” to LDS means
“LDS Church” anywhere they see it in The Bible.
Your LDS friends are not taught about the spread of THIS Gospel, the
persecution endured by the disciples & believers, or their LASTING
influence. There was never “a Great Apostasy,” and they were zealous to
keep The Law, The Prophets, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ pure of
“errors of evil men,” and complete, not missing the “Plain & Precious
Truths” the LDS claim that they provide. If Jesus & the disciples had
taught and practiced the LDS gospel, there would be evidence of it
worldwide BEFORE the LDS Church began spreading it.
But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not
fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your
hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you
to give an account for the hope that is in you …
