BrainPOP for ELL Students

ELL endorsed teachers and teachers of ELL students,

We are very excited to share that we have an excellent educational resource for our ELL students and
you. The Goddard District has purchased a subscription to the ESL BrainPop. Along with it we also have
combined it with BrainPop for elementary and lower secondary and BrainPop Jr for Pre-K to 3rd grade.
The ESL BrainPop has interactive activities to help students pre-k to 12 grade in the four domains of
speaking, listening, reading and writing. The other two BrainPops are great for all students covering
many different subjects like, Language Arts, math, social studies, science, music, health and art. These
have also been purchased to assist our ELL students in those subjects. We also have BrainPop Espanol
which comes with our combo and can be used with some of our fluent Spanish speakers. We were given
a special discount with this combo for our ELL population. Therefore, it is important that it is used for
our ELL population.

The video lessons are excellent and ELL teachers and teachers with ELL students are welcome to show
them to your classes. There are 50 accounts for each of the different BrainPop. Please contact
Mariuschka or Janet if you have questions on how you can use these great resources.
