Sunita Kadian, a B.Ed., P.G. in Public Relations and an MA in English, has spent

The Challenges: Launching an e-learning venture
involves many new skills
Its no secret that the world of education is undergoing a lot of technological
changes. The recent UK Chartered institute of Personnel and Development
survey shows that organizations are increasingly using e-learning in the
training sector. Factors involved with this change from the technology
improving to a useful state, to sheer student preference not to travel.
Unfortunately, many teachers are thrust into this new mode of instruction
without much training themselves. Those used to the traditional mode of
teaching have a learning curve to deal with, before theyre comfortable
teaching online.

Sunita was uncomfortable with the idea of e-learning, but wanted a way to
reach out to new learners. A veteran teacher, Sunita wanted a comprehensive
solution, where she could offer learning packages to students rather than just
a few independent classes and reach out to the learners. She found herself
facing a daunting lists of tasks, such as:
Learning how best to teach in an online environment
Learning how e-learning could help increase her students success rates
Increasing her exposure to the global audience e-learning offers

Any one of these items is a challenge. Sunita had to overcome all of them.

The Solution: WizIQ
In 2008, Sunita decided that WizIQ offered the complete course management
tools she needed, along with the WizIQ Virtual Classroom. For these reasons
and thanks to a wide variety of virtual classroom features, she chose WizIQ as
her platform for providing live English classes and other courses.
