Part B: Conceptual Skills (5 marks)
1. Diagram 9.1 and 9.2 show the light rays from two identical objects passing through the convex lenses, J and K.
Both the lenses produce virtual images. F is the focal point for each lens. Both the lenses produce virtual

water and cooking oil respectively. The reading of the spring balance for each situation is as shown in Diagram
9.1.

8.Diagram 7.1 shows a ray of light from a laser pen passes through a single slit and reaches the double slits will
