POSITION SUMMARY: The Cleveland Rape Crisis Center (CRCC) seeks a dynamic and
reliable professional to provide support, crisis intervention, education, resources and referrals for
needed services to survivors of sexual assault in the Cleveland Police Department (CPD) Sex
Crime Unit and throughout the criminal justice system.
Advocate will:
Accompany survivors and co-survivors in the Cleveland Police Department and court
systems within Cuyahoga County to provide direct services.
Serve as member of Sexual Assault Response Team and assist with training officers,
medical staff, CRCC volunteers and other community members in the dynamics of sexual
assault and trauma.
Work closely with fellow Advocates and CPD Sex Crime Unit staff members,
communicating regarding case management and scheduling.
Be available during evening and weekend hours.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree preferred with two years of experience in a related field,
or five years of work experience in a related field. Must have ability to work independently,
build relationships, collaborate internally and externally, evaluate and develop programs, ability
to understand and communicate agency mission, and communicate effectively with diverse
audiences, staff, volunteers and partners both verbally and in writing. Must be able to travel
throughout Cuyahoga County and have valid OH drivers license.
WORK HOURS: This is a full-time (40 hours a week) position requiring and offering flexible

Lifts and displays empty drop boxes to Surveillance personnel and/or fellow team
members.

Pulls bill validator boxes, insuring each box is accounted for before and after the drop.
Completes all paperwork accurately and delivers it to the appropriate department in a
timely manner.
Is responsible for the loading of coin/currency and count of dropped funds for all the
casino floor ticket redemption kiosks.
Counts Slot Operations Blind Drops.
Maintains Count Room in a clean and orderly fashion.
Follows safety and security guidelines and adheres to department procedures.
Performs emergency drops of bill validators.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 6 months previous money handling experience
Previous experience in performing detailed work preferred
Literate and fluent in basic English
Excellent Math Skills
Basic computer skills (basic word and excel skills are necessary)

Flexibility/adaptability and have good multi-tasking skills
Proficient in Microsoft office preferred

Receives work assignments daily from the stocking supervisor regarding what lines need to be
stocked in what areas.
Stocks new merchandise. Palletizes and labels overstock so that it may be handled properly.
Checks shipments for accuracy and reports the results to the stocking supervisor.
Ensures that all daily housekeeping duties are completed at end of day.
Prepares the assigned zone to begin pulling each day.
