Writes news features and community profiles for GoodLife Magazine. GoodLife magazine is a
bimonthly lifestyle publication that distributes to the Forest Hill, Leaside, Rosedale and
Lawrence Park areas of the Greater Toronto Area.
Hosted a weekly news show at Ryersons student radio. Responsible for booking guests and
conducting live interview segments. Collaborated with the assignment editor to create the
show rundown.
Covered the environment and sustainability beat, reporting on new projects and initiatives
within the campus community. Wrote and produced news packages for Ryersonian.ca, The
Ryersonian newspaper and RyersonianTV.
Covered a diverse range of news, including the 2014 provincial and municipal elections, the
Scarborough Film Festival, and the Ontario Greenbelt Act. Worked mainly for the Scarborough
Mirror and the East York Mirror newspapers, but have published with all Metroland Media
Toronto publications.
Began as a general assignment reporter. Wrote and produced news packages for the
Ryersonian.ca, The Ryersonian newspaper and RyersonianTV. Covered the Toronto City Hall
beat, following breaking news of Mayor Rob Fords crack video scandal. Also covered major
news stories such as, Typhoon Haiyan relief and the 2013 Toronto Centre by-elections.

Youth Speak News writer, The Catholic Register Aug. 2012-Aug. 2013
Year-long journalism program, covering news events relevant to the Canadian Catholic youth
community. Covered youth events and conferences that took place in the Greater Toronto
Area. Wrote news features and editorial columns about social issues relevant to todays youth.
Created a monthly youth column for HMWN.nets online newsletter. Participated in a monthly
radio broadcast alongside other youth representatives from all across the Greater Toronto
Area.
Re-launched the high school newspaper club in 2005. Facilitated editorial meetings. Worked
with the faculty supervisor to manage, edit and layout the newspaper. Wrote news stories and
features about school events and student life at St. Elizabeth CHS. Received the Best
Newspaper Award in 2007 at the Toronto Star High School Newspaper Awards.
