How to run Turbo c in windows 7 using Dosbox

You might have faced difficulty while running Turbo C in windows 7, it is because Turbo C is not
compatible with Windows 7, as it was with earlier versions of Windows like XP and ista! "any
students and programmers would have faced this difficulty to load Turbo c in windows 7, so in this
post # am going to show you how to load Turbo c in Windows 7!
#n order to load turbo c you need to have dosbo$, which is an emulator that recreates a "%&
'(% compatible environment! 'osbo$ is mainly used to run dos games and old
applications! We will use it to run Turbo C in windows 7! 'ownload 'osbo$ )!7* and install
it as you install any other software!
+ow create a folder in c, drive of your windows and name it as -turbo- or any other that you
feel easy and convenient, for convenience here we will take -turbo-!
+ow, copy TC folder that contains bin,source,lib etc or e$tract TC installer in folder that was
created in c drive in previous step i!e in turbo folder!
.un 'osbo$ from start menu or from the desktop shortcut, this will load '(% emulator and
prompt will display /,01!
You need to mount the folder that you had created in previous step! that is TC folder in turbo
folder, write following commands to mount it!
/,01 mount c c,0turbo
You would get a message that drive c is mounted as local directory c,0turbo!
+ow 2ust type in few simple dos commands to load tc as mentioned below
c,
This command will your present working drive from / to C
c,01 cd tc3bin
c,0tc0bin,1 tc
4bove commands will load Turbo C55 #'6 from tc3bin folder!

Configure DosBox To automatically load C++ IDE in

#f you want TC to be loaded automatically from within 'os7o$ when started, then perform
following steps!
8oad the 'os7o$ configuration file from the e$plorer, path for configuration file may be

Progrmas&1'os7o$&)!7*&1(ptions&1'(%7o$ )!7* (ptions-
9ile will open with default te$t editor and make follwing changes in the te$t file

windowresolution:original

4fter making above changes scroll down to the bottom of the file that might be showing

4fter ;autoe$ec< write following commands and save it to automatically load TC #'6
mount c c,0turbo
c,
cd tc3bin
tc
+ow whenever you will load 'os7o$ it will automatically load TC in fullscreen
