Prices
Environmental Dynamics Inc. reserves the right to adjust sale prices without notice. All prices are in U.S. dollars
and all accounts to be paid in U.S. Dollars. A$50.00 minimum order will apply to all purchases.
Shipping Policy
EDI will make every effort to ship orders for stock items within 3 days of order. Shipments for expedited freight
will be given priority. For non-stock items, EDI will notify client of anticipated ship schedule. Ship schedules are
subject to current work loads and may be adjusted to accommodate schedules.
Warranty
EDI commodity products are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for 12 months from the
date of purchase. Parts found to be defective in materials or workmanship will be repaired or replaced without
charge, F.O.B. original point of shipment. The responsibility of EDI is limited to the cost of the defective part.
Decomposition by chemical action and chemical precipitate, or wear caused by the presence of abrasive materials, or
faulty maintenance or operation shall not constitute defects.
Freight Charges
Shipments will be made "Freight Collect" or are for the account of the buyer. Items for approved accounts, EDI will
prepay and add the freight to the invoice.
Ship Methods
EDI will ship as specified by the client. EDI has daily scheduled pickups by UPS and FedEx. LTL and Truck Load
shipments are arranged from EDI on a daily basis. LTL carries include ABF, American, C&F Freight, Crouse, JB
Hunt, Overnight, Roadway, Werner, and Yellow. EDI can schedule shipment through a forwarder or broker.
Returned Goods
EDI will accept return of goods which have not been installed or operated and are in the original shipping carton. A
15% restocking charge will apply to all returns. All materials to be returned must be accompanied by an EDI
Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number. Contact EDI for RGAinformation prior to return of product.

Typical payment methods are payment in advance, company check or credit card (MasterCard, Visa or American

Credit
EDI will ship to municipalities, private accounts, established industrial accounts, and governmental agencies on
open account with approved credit.
Terms
EDI payment terms for approved accounts are 1% 10 days, Net 30 days from date of invoice. Interest rate at 1-1/2%
per month will be charged on all accounts unpaid 30 days after the invoice date.

How the Program Works
Through the Ex-Im Banks Short-Term Export Credit Insurance program, Environmental Dynamics Inc. is autho-
rized to offer attractive financing to its international customers.
Environmental Dynamics Inc. has been approved by the Ex-Im Bank to offer the following services in cooperation
with the Ex-Im Bank. This insurance program is offered at no cost and is both faster and less expensive than using
a Letter of Credit.
Short-Term Financing for International Customers
Short-Term financing is offered to the customers of Environmental Dynamics Inc. to allow a reasonable interval
for manufacturing, shipment, and receipt of goods by the customer. This Short-Term financing program allows cus-
tomers of Environmental Dynamics Inc. to purchase equipment or services on an open account without the require-
ment of prepayment.
Customers of Environmental Dynamics Inc. who have established a record of payment can be extended a discre-
tionary credit by EDI up to U.S. $40,000 on purchases made under this program.
For our new customers, Environmental Dynamics Inc. is able to extend the Insurance Program on initial purchases
up to U.S. $25,000. In order to use this Short-Term credit, new customers will be required to provide credit refer-
ences from their bank or from a credit reporting agency. Once established as a long-time customer of
Environmental Dynamics Inc., the discretionary credit limit can be employed for future transactions without addi-
tional credit documents.
For projects over the $40,000 or $25,000 discretionary limits listed above, credit approval by the Ex-Im Bank is
required. Below are the listed requirements or documents that will need to be supplied to the Ex-Im Bank for
transaction insurance approval.

Export-Import Bank
The Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) is a U.S. government agency whose mission is
to support the financing of U.S. Exports. EDI and the Ex-Im Bank have formed a partnership to offer
financing alternatives to prepayment and Letters of Credit.
Medium-Term Export Credit for International Customers
Ex-Im Bank supports medium-term U.S. dollar financing that enables Environmental Dynamics Inc. to offer
attractive medium-term credit to its international customers. Ex-Im Bank will support maximum allowable repay-
ment terms for environmentally-beneficial exports, including terms up to seven years for complete projects or high
unit value equipment items. The length of repayment terms that Ex-Im Bank can support under its Medium-Term
Export Credit Insurance program depends on the size of the transaction as follows:

Membrane Technology
EDI / Diffuser Express has invested significant resources in developing and engineering diffuser membrane com-
pounds and products. The advanced technology required to produce premium quality membranes incorporated in
the EDI diffusers is the result of years of intensive investment in research, engineering, and product refinement. In
developing and controlling the total membrane product from compounding through extrusion or molding and per-
foration, EDI is able to offer high efficiency products which require less energy to operate. EDI products last longer
in the field, which results in reduced operation and maintenance costs.
Two polymers have been selected as standard for most EDI products:
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene) provides excellent chemical, heat, UV and weather resistance. EPDM is well
suited to most municipal and industrial applications. EPDM is not recommended for use in appli-
cations where oils and solvents are present without prior field testing to confirm compatibility with
your specific application or use.
Urethane provides excellent chemical, UV and weather resistance and is recommended as an alternate to
EPDM rubber when oils and solvents are present. Best performance of urethane is obtained in
applications with temperatures below 40C. In applications with elevated temperatures (above
40C) performance may be impacted and life span reduced. Field testing should be used to confirm
compatibility prior to installation in aggressive applications.

Fine bubble tube and disc diffusers offered by Environmental Dynamics Inc. employ the latest technology available
in membrane diffusers. EDI Diffuser Express membrane tube and disc diffusers are routinely used in municipal
and industrial treatment plants including: package plants, aeration tanks, oxidation ditches, aerobic digesters, and
post aeration tanks. In addition, a large number of specialty aeration applications can be handled by EDI diffusers
including: aquaculture, lake destratification, water supply aeration, agriculture waste treatment, plus dissolving
industrial gasses into process water. Diffusers by EDI are a low-cost way to increase your plants treatment capaci-
ty when replacing less-efficient aeration systems.
FlexAirFine Bubble T Series Diffusers
Fine bubble tube diffusers by EDI Diffuser Express provide maximum oxygen transfer efficiency at low cost. Tube
diffusers offer lowest membrane stress and maximum capacity per membrane dollar.
The fine bubble tube diffuser units offered by EDI Diffuser Express are special non buoyant design. Standard mem-
brane material is EPDM or Urethane. Other membrane materials (e.g. polyurethane, nitrile, silicone) are available
upon special order. The diffuser body is PVC with the diffuser membrane secured to diffuser body with two stain-
less steel clamps. Each unit has a built-in triple check valve to prevent wastewater from entering the diffuser and
piping system when process air is turned off. EDI Diffuser Express diffusers employ a 3/4 fpt threaded connec-
tion. Units can be fabricated with 3/4 304 stainless steel nipple installed. The 3/4 stainless steel nipple can also
be shipped loose, or Diffuser Express can provide a connection for mounting units on square tubing opposite one
another.

Fine bubble disc diffusers by EDI Diffuser Express
provide high oxygen transfer efficiency at low cost.

Fine bubble FlexAir disc diffuser units offered by EDI Diffuser Express are easy to install and can be used to
upgrade existing coarse or fine bubble systems; or installed as new systems. Standard membrane material is
EPDM. Special membrane materials are available upon special order. The disc holder body is polypropylene with
a 3/4 NPT (M) connection which will screw into any standard 3/4 diameter threaded opening, or can be used
with the optional EDI Universal Diffuser Mount.
Each EDI disc diffuser unit has a built-in triple check valve to prevent wastewater and solids from entering the dif-
fuser and piping system when process air is turned off.

Thru Tube Mounting Connection Kit
The Thru Tube Mounting Connection Kit for Square Tube consists of a
stainless steel nipple with air inlet holes and two special EPDM rubber gas-
kets. Specify Tube cross-section dimension or size, wall thickness, and

Cantex Conversion Kit
The Cantex Conversion kit consists of one (1) high efficiency 91x502 "T" Series unit and PVC adapter to install the
replacement unit on existing 1-1/2" NPT (M) outlet. Installation includes unthreading existing Cantex unit and
reinstalling the 91x502 "T" Series unit and adapter. Conversion offers increased efficiency, less susceptibility to foul-
ing, ability of on/off operation with minimization of process water back into air supply piping, as well as ease of
maintenance.

EDI 316 Cast Diffuser Mount
The special 316SS diffuser mount tee is designed to mount 3/4-inch coarse or fine bubble threaded diffusers on SS
pipe. The mount is cast for maximum strength. Alarge diameter pipe contract area reduces pipe fatigue, making
the diffuser mount suitable for even thin wall pipe. Aspecial leveling bar on bottom of the
mount is utilized during the fabrication process to ensure diffusers will be level when
installed. The 316 SS material can be used with either 304 or 316 SS pipe.

Universal Diffuser Mount
The Universal Diffuser Mount (UDM) for fine bubble or coarse bubble disc diffusers is designed to accept a 3/4
NPT diffuser connection. The UDM is engineered for use with 2 through 8 pipe. Pipe can be thin wall to heavy
wall plastic or metal pipe. UDM can also be glued to PVC or ABS piping if desired. Installation includes drilling a
1-1/4 diameter hole, de-burring the hole, installing the UDM (with or without glue) and screwing the diffuser into
the UDM. The UDM is to be used for mounting diffusers on the top of the lateral and is not
recommended for sidewall mount of diffuser units. Note: Special installation instructions
included for each order.

AERCOR/Norton 7 Ceramic Dome Conversion Kit
Flexible membrane conversion for 7 diameter ceramic dome units (1/2 center bolt design) to industry standard
9 diameter disc membrane diffuser units. Conversion and upgrade provides major
capacity increase, significant efficiency gains, and reduced maintenance requirements.
Kits typically consist of EDI 9 diameter advanced technology disc diffuser unit, with
3/4 NPT (M) threads, adapter for 1/2 threads, and stainless bolt for unit connection.
Normal operation airflow for the 9 diameter conversion unit is 0 - 5 scfm per unit.

(1) remove ceramic media
(2) clean holder
(3) install glass reinforced polypropylene membrane
support plate and EDI 9 diameter advanced
technology disc diffuser membrane
(4) replace retainer ring.
AERCOR and Norton conversion kits include a riser ring
so industry standard 9 disc membranes can be utilized.
