TREDFOR VOCATION EXPOSURE PROGRAM

Description
The Call of the Kingdom of God and Christian Reponses (TREDFOR) is a course
that gives the students a better understanding of marriage and famil life! the priesthood!
and religious life as "as of see#ing God$s Kingdom% This program "ill allo" the
students to ac&uire relational s#ills needed to understand these vocations in life% To
ac&uire those s#ills the students "ill integrate lessons learned from the classroom "ith
real'life situations of married couples! priests and religious%
Objectives

+% ,earn about the -love stor. of a married couple and identif the #e concepts
that revolve around being married and becoming a famil%
/% 0ave a clear grasp of the present situation of priests and religious and
understand the significance of their share in the mission of the church! and
ho" the live up to the evangelical vo"s the have made%
1% 2dentif the various social! political! and religious sponsored activities that
cater to married couples! priests and religious%
3% 4rite a snthesis paper about the relevant concepts and lessons learned from
the discussion "ith a married couple or priest5religious and from the activities
the participated on%
Procedre
+% 6fter e)plaining the description and ob7ectives of the program the teacher "ill
assign the students to formulate intervie" &uestions for a married couple! a priest
or religious% Teachers can revie" the &uestions before the students conduct the
intervie"%
Couples to be intervie"ed must be married (in the Church) for more than +8
ears% 6 minimum of +9 ears in the active ministr is re&uired for priests and
religious% 2n order to fulfill this re&uirement the students must submit at least one
of the follo"ing* :ero) cop of ;arriage Contract! 4edding <ictures! 4edding
2nvitation! :ero) cop of Certificate of Ordination5Contract of Temporar =o"s!

/% 6fter accomplishing the intervie" the students "ill identif and be involved in
one (+) activit related to the vocation the have chosen to e)plore%
For an intervie" "ith a married couple the students can chose to
participate5observe in one of the follo"ing activities* <re'Cana >eminar! pre'
"edding seminars5"or#shops sponsored b the government! an tpe of
preparation for a "edding ceremon! etc% >tudents "ho opted to intervie" a
priest or religious ma participate5observe in a =ocation Campaign or an related
activit%
1% The program culminates "ith a 8'? page paper containing the students$ reflections
and snthesis of the lessons the learned from the intervie" and their involvement
in the activit% >tudents must be reminded that their snthesis is an indicator of
"hether the grasp or not the overall ob7ectives of TREDFOR%
