Connection and log-in


Verifying the
server is running
To verify that the server is running:
Run the show tasks tell command from the Lotus Domino
Administrator client and look for the following:
- Lotus Traveler Running: 2 of 2 users active
- HTT server Listen for connect re!uests on T" ort: #$
"heck the server console for the following:
- Lotus Traveler: %erver started
Look for traveler&e'e in the (icrosoft )indows Task

Verifying

Run the command tell traveler show and look for the following:

Statistic and Log information

look at- in order to validate the num2er of users you think are

Run the command show to see the following information:
The final +aragra+h a2ove may change to reflect different error
states as follows:
Lotus Traveler does not have delete rights to the data2ase &
Lotus Traveler could not o+en the data2ase & Verify that the
server and the data2ase grant access to server and that there
is a network connection availa2le 2etween these servers&
,nternal error encountered attem+ting to validate access to
data2ase &
The Domino server for does not su++ort for Lotus Traveler&
%ee logs for more details&
The Lotus Domino server-- that hosts the mail file is an
earlier version so some functions are not fully im+lemented&
Data2ase is 2ytes in si/e and +ercent used- which is over the
!uota of 2ytes&
The data2ase on is not configured to re+licate read and
unread marks& As a result- unread marks will not 2e
re+licated with the device&
Logging into the
server
,f you are una2le to log into the Lotus 4otes Traveler server- verify
the following:
,D is not locked out of HTT server
assword is correct

Domino server security settings& To modify this setting:
- .rom the Domino Administrator- click "onfiguration- and

The Lotus 4otes Traveler client installation does continue-
however- if the a2ove message is seen- you may want to
close other running a++lications- or +erform a soft reset in
order to free u+ resources&
Verifying
connections
To verify your connection to the server:
