Merry Christmas and our greetings to all of you as we celebrate and think of the birth of our Lord
and Saviour so many years ago! What is so wonderful is that His life, death and resurrection make such
a difference in our lives today! We thank God for His Son and our salvation.
So many things have happen since our last newsletter. We are now living in San Antonio, Texas
where Bill is part-owner of a print shop and working part-time in our work to help spread the gospel
thru literature. Bill has been able to print material and distribute it into Mexico, which has been very
effective. One teaching booklet was the key to 45 baptisim at a summer camp. He is very active in
helping the different churches here in San Antonio in whatever way he can. He
as taken over 80,000 New Testaments into Mexico.
The year of 1980 found us with a new baby. Frances MargEve. 1
year old. She has been a joy to us. She is now walking and starting to
talk. Billy is now 8 years old and in the 3rd grade. He has really
grown, and is a very good student in school. Barbie is 5 years old and
ready to start kindergardcn next year. She is really happy about this.
Me? Well, with three children I keep very busy keeping them out of
trouble and myself too! I do help Bill out in the shop when he gets in a
tight spot.
San Antonio has been an intresting city to live in, but things have been
very different not living around missionaries all the time. Our stay here
will not be very long though because of a move we plan to make this
coming summer.
In the future [summer of 1981 ] we will be moving to El Paso,
Texas. Bill has accepted the directorship of Spanish American
Evangelism. This mission is intrested in writing, publishing,
printing and distributing Spanish literature for our Spanish
world. Lord willing, if we can sell our house and get the shop
to pay for itself, we will move the equipment and ourselves
sometime in June or July. Do pray that the Lord's blessings be
on us as we once again work for Him full time.
We will need 600 additional dollars to help support us, since
we will not be paid by Spanish American Evangelism at all. Do
pray for this need and keep us in your prayers.
We do thank all of you who have been intrested in our
work and pray that the Lord will bless you more and
more for your willingness to share with us of what
the Lord has given you.
God Bless you and Merry Christmas
and A Happy New Year!

I am sure that many of you might be a bit confused concerning our current address. I know that many of you
have received publications from Spanish American Evangelism stating that I had accepted the position of director.
Because of this, some have gotten the idea that we are already living in El Paso. As we have stated previously, we
are in San Antonio, Texas in a major effort to clear up the obligations which we have there. Our schedule is to be
on the field in El Paso during the early part of the coming summer.
Our mailing address in San Antonio is: P.O. Box 39387, San Antonio, Texas 78218. We are receiving support
through our forwarding agent in Scottsbluff, Nebraska: Latin American Wheels for Evangelism, RR 3, Box 55C,
Scottsbluff, Nebraska 69361. The address for Spanish American Evangelism is: 3135 Forney Lane, El Paso Texas
79935.
I hope that this clears up some confusion which may have developed previously. Bill Baker
ASA LITTLE CHILD
Christmas is a child's day.
(O, my heart keep young.)
Christmas is the loveliest
Song a-child has sung.
Christmas is the starriest
Night of joy and mirth.
Every little child is glad
That jesus came to earth.
Christmas is a child's day,
Watch a child's eyes shine!
{Heavenly Father, let me keep
The Christmas light in mine.)
Christmas is so holy.
Pure and clean and white
(Heavenly Father, let me be
A little child tonight.)
