It is said that “form follows function,” now is this the way we should look at things or maybe
should we look at things as how to balance aesthetics and functionality in designs.
People in design professions all propose their ideas differently. This essay takes a look into
different professions and how each profession uses elements of design in different ways.
Designing using the elements of function and aesthetics principles in the works they do in the
environment. While assuming that a balance is the best, and what people need to know is how
to balance them.
The design process includes meeting with the client, an articulation of functional and
aesthetic design objectives, a site analysis, an assessment of the existing plant inventory, and
an informal conceptual plan. Clients are kept informed of progress and involved at every step
of the design process.
