The document proposes a framework called PROFILR that aims to address conflicts between user privacy and provider profit in geosocial networks. PROFILR constructs location-centric profiles (LCPs) that aggregate user profile data for discrete locations, providing strong privacy guarantees while also giving providers correctness assurances. It also proposes a decentralized approach for computing real-time LCP snapshots using users' collocated profiles. An Android implementation showed PROFILR is efficient with low overhead even under strong privacy and correctness assurances.

Toward Preserving Privacy and Functionality in Geosocial Networks
IEEE based on WEB MINING ANDROID 2014
Abstract Profit is the main participation incentive for social network providers. Its reliance on user profiles, built from a wealth of voluntarily revealed personal information, exposes users to a variety of privacy vulnerabilities. In this paper, we propose to take first steps toward addressing the conflict between profit and privacy in geosocial networks. We introduce PROFILR, a framework for constructing location centric profiles (LCPs), aggregates built over the profiles of users that have visited discrete locations (i.e., venues). PROFILR endows users with strong privacy guarantees and providers with correctness assurances. In addition to a venue centric approach, we pro-pose a decentralized solution for computing real time LCP snapshots over the profiles of collocated users. An Android implementation shows that PROFILR is efficient; the end-to-end overhead is small even under strong privacy and correctness assurances. We propose a completely decentralized PROFILE extension built around the notion of snapshot LCPs the distributed PROFILER enables user device to aggregate the profile of co- located users. An Android implementation shows that PROFILER is efficient; the end-to-end overhead is small even under strong privacy and correctness assurance. Existing system The existing system is to find the location only using GPs and Service provider, Based up on the GPs in existing having the lot of application its provide only for the corresponding location. Using current location had to found the particular area and also found the value of the area. GPS (Global Positioning System) is combination of latitude and longitude like X and Y Axis, The satellite only send that value (Latitude and Longitude) to our smart phone using that value it will show the corresponding location. Disadvantages: In this System only find the corresponding location using GPS (combination of latitude and longitude). This is not change the profile automatically, and alarm notification is not enable automatically when you are going to reach the regular location (ex: office). This is not managing the volume automatically based upon the profile. Proposed System In the proposed system user can manage the profiler and alert automatically based on the location centric profiles (LCPs) value that means latitude and longitude. In our project we can maintain the one database its contain the some of the location centric profiles (LCPs) and that matching ideals, we can find the distance between the current location and corresponding instance location, whether that satisfy the our condition it will automatically convert prefer mode (silent, vibrate or normal) of the profile of the smart phone and alert also. Advantages: In our System we find the corresponding location using Global Positioning and Service Provider also. This is change the profile mode automatically and alarm notification enable automatically when you are going to reach corresponding location n or Regular Location. Volume and wallpaper and tone also manage in your device based up on the Profile.
