Indirect Tax Revenue (Provisional) Collections Increase from Rs.3,06,814 Crore in AprilNovember 2013 to Rs. 3,28,662 Crore During April-November 2014; Registering an Increase
of 7.1% during April-November 2014 Over the Corresponding Period in the Previous Year;
Service Tax Collections Increase by 11.5% During the Same Period
Indirect Tax Revenue (Provisional) collections have increased from Rs 3,06,814 crore in
April-November 2013 to Rs. 3,28,662 crore during April-November 2014. Thus an increase of
7.1% has been registered during April-November 2014 over the corresponding period in the
previous year.
Service Tax collections have increased from Rs. 91,982 crore in April-November 2013 to
Rs.1,02,592 crore during April-November 2014 registering an increase of 11.5%. This
amounts to an achievement of 47.5 % of the target fixed at BE 2014-15.
Collections from Customs increased from Rs.1,11,844 crore during April-November 2013 to
Rs. 1,23,308 crore during April-November 2014 registering an increase of 10.2%. This is an
achievement of 61.1% of the target fixed at BE 2014-15.

Indirect Tax Revenue (Provisional) Collections Increase from Rs 2,69,909 Crore in AprilOctober 2013 to Rs.2,85,126 Crore During April-October 2014; Registering an Increase of
5.6% During April-October 2014 over the Corresponding Period in the Previous Year; Service
Tax Collections Increase by 10.9% During the Same Period
Indirect Tax Revenue (Provisional) collections have increased from Rs
2,69,909 crore in April-October 2013 to Rs.2,85,126 crore during April-October 2014. Thus
an increase of 5.6 % has been registered during April-October 2014 over the corresponding
period in the previous year. This is an overall achievement of 45.7% of the target fixed at BE
2014-15.
Service Tax collections have increased from Rs.81,758 crore in April-October 2013 to Rs.
90,673 crore during April-October 2014 registering an increase of 10.9%. This amounts to an
achievement of 42.0 % of the target fixed at BE 2014-15.
Collections from Customs increased from Rs.98.707 crore during April-October 2013 to
Rs.1,06.123 crore during April-October 2014 registering an increase of 7.5%. This is an
achievement of 52.6% of the target fixed at BE 2014-15

Gross Direct Taxes Collections during April-September of the Current Financial Year 2014-15
is up by 15.00 percent and stood at Rs. 3,46,144 crore as against Rs. 3,01,063 crore
Collected during the same Period Last Year.
Gross Direct Taxes collections during April-September of the current Financial Year 2014-15
is up by 15.00 percent and stood at Rs.3,46,144 crore as against Rs. 3,01,063 crore collected
during the same period last year. Gross collections of Corporate Tax has shown an increase
of
15.31 percent and stood at Rs.2,22,616 crore as against Rs. 1,93,054 crore collected during
the same period last year.
Gross collection of Personal Income Tax, including STT and Wealth Tax, is up by 14.37
percent and stood at Rs. 1,23,528 crore as against Rs. 1,08,009 crore collected during the
same period last year. Securities Transaction Tax (STT) stands at Rs. 3223 crore at a growth
of 45.83%. Net Direct Tax collections is up by 7.09 percent and stands at Rs. 2,68,836 crore,
as compared to Rs. 2,51,028 crore during the same period in the last fiscal.
Advance tax collections have shown a growth of 15.28% during the first half of the year as
against the growth of 7.66% shown at the same time previous year. Growth in Tax
Deduction at Source(TDS) is 9.47% as against 14.22% in the same period last year.
