Is a program on channel 4 and channel 4HD. This is the same channel as we would publish our documentary on. The target audience is roughly 18-25 so it is fairly close to our mobile phone documentary.
The opening (0-60) The opening 10 seconds shows an uneducated British female who is expressing nonfactual information, this goes along with light music in the background to suggest the kind of audience that would visit Kavos. Images used We can see a beach, sun, boat, foam party and a disabled individual in a hospital. This shows how the documentary is not just about able bodied people. Sound used Interviews and vox pop audio as well as a narration.
1-2 minutes We mainly see interviews and facts to give us an insight into what life in kavos is like. The title of the documentary appears at this late stage so we already know what the documentary will be about. Images used We see a hospital which will get many young people needing treatment in and we get multiple footage of inside and outside of clubs.
Sound used The narration provides facts for the audience such as how 100,000 British people visit Kavos a year. There are many interviews and vox pops both with experts (hospital staff) and tourists. 2-3 minutes Once again there is multiple footage of people in clubs acting in a drunken manner, there is constant jumps from vox pop to more footage. We also see another title screen saying go hard or go home suggesting that Kavos is a location in which an individual must party. 2) The devil made me do it This documentary has been analysed as it is mixed, and contains a voice of God narrative that we will like to replicate in our documentary. The documentary has a wider audience as it is controversial younger people will be interested so the target age would be 17-30. This is close to our target market so we can see how they structure their arguments.
