Third party inspection certificates.
Ensure the lifting chains / slings, shackles are of proper load
bearing capacity and have valid third party certificate.
Ensure the lifting bucket to be used with crane for backfilling
have proper load bearing capacity and have valid third party
inspection certificate. Ensure the safe condition of lifting hooks.
Provide safe access for trucks to the site. Provide enough space
for reversing and unloading activities.
Cordon the equipment operation area . Post sign boards and
prevent unauthorised entry.

Ensure qualified rigger guide and monitor the lifing operations
Barricade lifting area ,prevent unairthorised entry into lifing area.
Ensure no workers inside the excavation while lowering the backfill
material with bucket. They shall go inside only after the bucket reach the
bottom of the excavation.
Ensure the weight of gravel / backfill material in lifting bucket comply
with the lifting capacity of the bucket.
Ensure the crane is located at safe distance from excavation
Ensure the workers use leather hand gloves safety shoes and safety
helmet and cover all.
Signature:
Ensure wooden pads are put under the ourtriggers.
Ensure the positioning of crane is safe for the load to be lifted / lowered
into trench.Cross check with safe load indicator/load chart.
Conduct TBT to aware the workers regading injuries to hands by
entrapment and to other body parts while unloading the backfill from the
bucket inside excavation.
