Outside of the general knowledge disclosed in The Game and the general seduction
community there are NLP patterns that are deemed to be forbidden and too powerful f
or the masses to learn. Whether this is marketing gimmick or truly a trade secre
t, no one really knows. PUAs that have used the October Man Sequence claim that
the pattern does work, but only if there is initial attraction and compliance es
tablished.
Different proponents of NLP differ on their opinions of NLP patterns and the Oct
ober Man Sequence:
Some artists say that NLP has minimal effect, and it does not work
Some acknowledge a generally positive experience with NLP, but it is only influe
ntial, not at the mind control level as depicted by some of the NLP and Pick Up Ar
tist practitioners
Others claim that there are powerful NLP patterns that defy other peoples will an
d can mind control others
Varying degrees of skill also depend on the practitioner and the instructor that
is using NLP.
The October Man Sequence is one of the most sought after of these patterns.
Originally developed by seductionists In10se and Swinggcat, the October Man Sequ
ence is so sought after because it is said to be the single most powerful NLP ro
utine made for use in seduction. Because of this, it is touted as a big, bad for
bidden secret, known only to the best of the best.
The usefulness and functionality of the sequence sparks heated debate within the
community, and this could be for a few reasons.

id to consist of the following three patterns:
The Hospital Pattern. This pattern serves to fractionate the subject from intense
feelings of pain to pleasure, and swing the subjects emotions like a pendulum. Th
e pain is anchored to something away from the PUA, while pleasure is anchored di
rectly to the PUA. This technique not only emotionally distorts the subject into
a state of feeling disoriented with the outside world, but also creates a feeli
ng of safety within the PUAs presence, building a disorienting semi-dependency.
The Gemini Pattern. This pattern is designed to create two subconscious identities
in the subject. One being that is socially adhering, conservative identity, the
other being the sexually free, socially uninhibited identity. Once these two id
entities are built, the desired identity is brought out of the subject, replacin
g the identity not desired (by the PUA) as the major source of personal directio
n for the subject.
The Rising Sun Pattern. This pattern installs the idea of a shadow within the subjec
t, which harbors all of the subjects natural (read sexual) desires and fantasies.
Once the concept of the shadow has been installed, the concept is enlarged, unt
il the idea becomes tangible and real to the subject. The PUA will then guide th
e subject into stepping into the shadow, and assume its dominance.
These three patterns serve to anchor a multitude of desirable feelings to the PU
A, as well as fractionate these with the painful and undesirable feelings anchor
ed outside of the PUA. It then builds a new sexual identity within the subject,
and allows this identity to gain dominance. The effect is then reinforced with a
post-hypnotic guiding of the subject into the concept of a shadow which holds all
the subjects repressed desires and fantasies, inducing the subject to act with
greater sexual recklessness.
The patterns themselves should generally not be posted verbatim for mass consump
tion. Those with a sound understanding of Neuro Linguistic Programming would be
able to create patterns using the guide above, but those without a thorough unde
rstanding of NLP may misuse the patterns if they were posted word-for-word.
Although there is counter-argument to this: those without a thorough knowledge o
f NLP would likely not be able to perform these sorts of patterns as proficientl
y as needed to induce the sorts of changes aimed for within the subject.
