EARLY CINEMA : a bibliography

EARLY CINEMA - A BIBLIOGRAPHY

The exploration of the first twenty-five years of the cinema has been one of the most active areas of film studies in the
past twenty or so years. This bibliography brings together a collection of the most recent academic work with a selection of
classic texts, some of which may benefit from critical scrutiny in the light of recent research.
