1.0 Project Description

This project is a brochure that will promote Queens Park pizzeria and
encourage customers to visit. It will aim at displaying all the products
that you can order in a unique fashion that will make it less frustrating
for customers to follow.

2.0 Background information

Queens Park Pizzeria was established in 1989 at Queens Park, and

became a franchise called QP in 1994. The Queens Park QP is owned
in a partnership by two people called Dave and Simon. They have
owned the business now for 10 months and are looking to modify the
look of the original Queens Park Pizzeria. Some of the designs for
Queens Park pizzeria have to be kept because it has been a franchise
since 1994 and it will be breaching agreements if fonts are changed.

3.0 Possible Solutions

Below are some possible solutions for size, fonts and colour schemes.

3.1 Size Solution

The Brochure has been created in two sizes, the plain A4 paper
folded in three or the slightly thinner in width A4 paper folded in
three.

3.2 Colour Solution

There are a variety of choices when it comes to colour, although

the choices that have been made are either the colour schemes
blue or red. Then there is the choice whether it will have a lot of
contrast or no contrast.

3.3 Font Solution

It was slightly harder to find a solution for font because the font
family couldn’t be changed so instead it will be converted to 3D
font or manipulated shapes.

4.0 Evaluation of Solutions

Below are some evaluations of each solutions topic.

4.1 Size Solution

The first option of the A4 brochure folded in 3 is most probably

the better option because it will fit more and the products won’t
have to be bunched up. The thinner A4 paper brochure wouldn’t
be the best option because it will cost more to develop and won’t
fit as much.

4.2 Colour Solution

It doesn’t really matter what colour scheme is chosen because it

doesn’t impact any major factors such as time or money.
Although it will be better to keep the original red colour scheme
so that customers know that it is a QP brochure.

4.3 Font Solution

The idea of having a 3D font is very unique, although it will take a

bit longer to create, it will still be one of the solutions carried out
in the brochure because of the impact it will have.

5.0 Most Feasible Solution

4
The most feasible solution for each of the categories will be to keep
the normal A4 piece of paper folded in 3 to save money when
producing. To keep the original red colour scheme so that the
customers are familiar with the brochure and to create 3D fonts so that
it looks unique.

6.0 Conclusion

The projects aim is to achieve a sophisticated and original design that

will attract customer’s attention and be less frustrating to follow
through. The most feasible option has been chosen to save time and
money.
