Essay Topic: Ways To Prevent Crimes In Public Transportation
Thesis: People should wear clothes that are not provoking, stay close to security guards, and
security cameras should be installed in every public transportation to prevent crimes in public
transportation.
First Topic Sentence: People should not wear jewelries excessively or dress provokingly
in public transportation to prevent crimes.
Second Topic Sentence: In addition to wearing less appealing clothing and jewelries,
people should stay close to security guards to prevent crimes in public transportation.

Conclusion: Wearing clothes that are not provoking, staying close to security guards, and having
security cameras installed in public transportation would prevent crimes from happening in

When there are many temptations to commit crimes, those crimes are most likely going
to happen. But when those opportunities to commit crimes are eliminated, they are less likely to
happen. The government and people can contribute to prevent crimes from happening in public.
People should wear clothes that are not provoking, stay close to security guards, and security
cameras should be installed in every public transportation to prevent crimes in public
transportation.
People should not wear jewelries excessively or dress provokingly in public
transportation to prevent crimes. Many times, bad and evil intentions are sparked with
opportunities before they turn into actions. If the opportunities to commit crimes are being
presented openly, then crimes will most likely be committed. Crimes can be prevented if the
temptations are taken away. If people are wearing excessive jewelries in public transportation,
they will draw the attention of other people who have the intentions to commit crimes. But when
people do not wear excessive jewelries, the opportunity to commit a crime is taken away. The
same thing goes for those who dress provokingly. When a person is alone and dresses
provokingly in a public transportation, he or she could be subject to robbery, kidnapping and
eventually raping. To prevent crimes in public transportation, people should not wear provoking
clothes or excessive jewelries that are expensive.
In addition to wearing less appealing clothing and jewelries, people should stay close to
security guards to prevent crimes in public transportation. People should be careful at anytime
when they get on the public transportation especially when they are alone. Thefts or robberies are
less likely to happen when there are many people around because there are witnesses and the
chance of getting caught is very high when there are people around. So if someone is alone in
public transportation, it is a good idea to stay close to the guards or drivers because their
presence alone could protect him. Robbers would think twice before approaching their targets.
There are security guards in the train or bus and stations whose jobs are to keep the area safe for
passengers. Staying close to security guards in public transportation would prevent crimes
because there is a high chance of getting arrested.
The government should install security cameras to prevent crimes in public
transportation. Security cameras should be installed in every train and bus and must be under
careful observation to prevent crimes from happening in these places. Any suspicious movement
or suspect could be detected and therefore could be prevented immediately. People who are
about to commit crimes would consider their actions again when they see the security cameras
because there is now a higher chance that their actions would be caught by the cameras and be
arrested. When it becomes harder to commit crimes, then fewer crimes would happen. Security
cameras would certainly prevent crimes in public transportation because there is a greater chance
of getting arrested.
Wearing clothes that are not provoking, staying close to security guards, and having
security cameras installed in public transportation would prevent crimes from happening in
public transportation. People should not wear excessive jewelries when they are using the public
transportation or wear clothes that are appealing. People should also be near security guards
when they are using the public transportation especially when they are alone. Security cameras
should also be installed to observe suspicious actions or suspects so that prevent could be
prevented in public transportation.
