Okene Federal Government Road in a dilapidated and decapitated stage

I am amazed that Nigerian Government could ignore the road that connects all the major cities from
Abuja to Lagos and other big cities without repair. Okene Federal Road is at the stage of
decapitation and dilapidation.
I called on Nigerian Government to fix the Okene Federal Road. It is an eye saw to see pictures of
what is currently happening in Ebiraland. They are quick to pass blame on Ebira youths for all the
atrocities that have taken place in our homeland. Are the Ebira youths responsible for the
dilapidation and decapitation of a Federal Road that has been ignored over many years? The
Federal Government was able to fix the road from Abuja to Lokoja and decided to abandon the road
that leads to Okene and to other major cities. Why rob Peter to pay Paul. I am well aware that Ebira
Central has no representations at Federal level, and those who are supposed to represent us are
only playing politics of acquiring wealth for themselves.
Nigerian Government should not and must not ignore the Federal Road that passed through
Ebiraland. All the trailers in Nigeria have converged in Ebiraland making it absolutely difficult for any
movement by cars to anywhere in Nigeria. Whatever may be the reasoned the Federal Government
has in ignoring such important road that connects major cities in Nigeria must be review an
appropriate action must be taken to ensure that the fixing of that road commence immediately.
I am using this media to call on Ebira youths to take their destiny in their hands to ensure that
anyone who is running for an office took an oath of allegiance to Ebira land signed in Court. If such
people failed to do what we send them for, we can withdraw them with immediate effect. That is only
way we shall have discipline in our political system in Nigeria. The youths must unite in reviving
Ebira land as a whole instead of looking for immediate gratification for individuals which amount to
nothing. Ebira youths must understand that you cannot achieve anything through violence. We can
move a mountain by carefully strategizing and working smart to ensure we revive our homeland.
Never again shall the youths pick up arms against Ebira people, never again, shall Ebira be used as
scape goats for Igala people, never again shall we destroy our homeland for the sake of politics, and
never again shall our youths be used as a tool for destruction in Ebirland. Our coming together under
one umbrella is what will empower us to be strong and make positive stride in revamping our
homeland. Remember to all Ebira youths that you are an Ebira first. That spirit of been an Ebira sons
and daughters should rejuvenate in you to serve your Mother land.
All Ebira organizations in existence those registered with CAC and those that are not yet registered.
We must work together as one entity to revamp our Mother land. If our politicians failed us we must
place people in power that will face the consequences if they failed to deliver. We must stop sending
bench warmers to offices of power. We must discourage clannish sentiments of all kind. We have
one ancestor that binds us together. Just because I am from one of the major clan in Ebiraland does
not make me superior to another clan. Our fore fathers used clan to unite one another. They never
used it to disunite. Together, we shall have a vital role to play in moving Nigeria forward. Let us
come together in calling the Federal Government to fix the Okene Federal Road now!
