BAHAGIAN B

Soalan Cadangan Jawapan Markah
3(a) Force applied affects the acceleration 1
(b) The bigger the force, the bigger the acceleration 1
(c) (i) To investigate the relationship between the force and acceleration 1
(ii) MV : Force (Number of slotted rubber bands, N)
RV : Acceleration, a
CV : Mass, m

(iii) Trolley, 5 rubber bands, ticker timer, power supply, track, ticker tape, meter rule 1
(iv) Labelled diagram showing set up of apparatus that will function 1
(v) 1. The power supply is switched on. The trolley is pulled along the track by 1
rubber band stetched to a certain length.
2. The power supply is switched off. From the ticker tape, the acceleration of
the trolley is calculated using the formula a =
v - u
t

3. Steps 1 and 2 are repeated by pulling the trolley using N = 2, 3, 4 and 5
rubber bands stretched to the same length.
