PATTERN NOTES
This body of this dress is comprised of 8 panels; 4
for the Front and 4 for the Back. Each sleeve is
comprised of 2 panels. The collar is knit
separately in the round.

FRONT
CENTER PANELS (make 2)
Cast on 27 (29, 31, 33, 35) sts. Knit 4 rows.
Next row (RS): Knit.
Next row (WS): Purl.
Continue in St st until Panel meas 13 from cast-
on edge, ending with WS row.

Shape Panel to Waist
Dec row (RS): K1, k2tog, knit to last 3 sts, ssk, k1
2 sts decd. Continuing in St st, rep Dec row
every 8 rows, 4 more times 17 (19, 21, 23, 25)
sts rem. Continue in St st until Panel meas 21,
ending with WS row.

Shape Panel to Bust
Inc row (RS): K1, m1, knit to last st, m1, k1 2 sts
incd, 19 (21, 23, 25, 27) sts. Work even in St st
until Panel meas 27, ending with WS row. Place
removable markers on either side of work to
indicate Armhole height (this is only to help in
aligning with the Side Panels while seaming).

Continue in St st until Panel meas 6 (7, 7, 8,
8) from markers, ending with WS row. Bind off
all sts.

LEFT FRONT SIDE PANEL
Work as for Center Panel until piece meas 27,
ending with WS row.

Shape Armhole
Row 1 (RS): Bind off 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) sts, knit to end

Row 2 (WS): Purl.

COLLAR
With circular ndl, cast on 160 sts. PM and join to
work in the rnd. Knit every rnd until Collar meas
6.
Purl 1 rnd. Knit 1 rnd. Rep these 2 rnds, 1 more
time. Bind off all sts pwise.

FINISHING
Sew Front/Back Body Panels together using
diagram as a guide, using mattress stitch with
right side of Panels facing each other so that the
seams show on the outside. Sew side seams. Sew
Sleeve Panels together. Sew Sleeves to body at
Raglan Shaping lines. With right side of the Collar
(Stockinette stitch side) facing the wrong side of
neck edge, sew Collar to neck edge, gathering
where necessary. When Collar is flipped out, the
knit side will show. Weave in ends.
