Overseas Service Learning Programmes
In Woodlands Secondary School, all secondary three students went through an
overseas service learning experience to sharpen their global awareness and
sensitivities as well as to enhance their cross-cultural skills.

The programmes involved students in planning, raising funds prior to the trips,
leading their teams and making decision during the trip. Overseas projects that our
students were involved in include building of infrastructures, simple renovation
work and teaching English to students in Asean countries such as Indonesia,
Cambodia and Vietnam.

Our Performing Arts Groups
Our Performing Arts Groups consist of the Indian Dance, Chinese Dance, Malay Dance, Guitar
Ensemble and Concert Band. Our students perseverance and dedication were evident from
their consistent outstanding achievements in the Singapore Youth Festival Arts perfomances.
Besides participating in school performances such as the Annual Speech Day and Festive
Concerts, our students also showcased their talents in public performances such as the Music-
in-The-City performance at Ngee Ann City and performances to raise funds for the needy.
