So class, what have you noticed in our activity?
Correct! Imagine that Daniel Padilla has no legs. Is his body will function completely?
Correct! Just like in Electric Circuit. If the other parts are not present, the whole circuit will never function. So lets move on to our topic which is the Electric Circuit. Who will define first Electric Circuit?
Very Good! Electric Circuit has different parts. Who can give one?
Correct! So, who can define source?
You are right! So, the function of the source is to establish difference from a high (+) to low (-) potential point. The potential difference makes the current to flow. Who can give me the other parts of Electric Circuit?
That is correct! The path is made up of conducting materials or conductor. These are materials that conduct electricity and allow electricity to pass through. Aside from path, what are the other parts of Electric Circuit? Pls. give one.
Good! Who can give me the examples of load?
Maam we assembled puzzle.
No maam. Maybe the other parts will function but not the whole body.
Maam the Electric Circuit can be defined as a complete path where electricity flows from a source to the load and back again to the source.
Maam one of the parts of circuit is source.
Maam the source is where the electricity comes from. It is sometimes called as source of emf, refers to a generator, a battery of cell or a transmission power line. It is where the current or electricity starts to flow.
Maam the path is all the parts of the circuit where the current or electricity flows. It is the pathway of flowing electricity.
Maam the load is devices that consume electricity on its operation.
Maam the examples of load are light bulbs, television set, electric fan, radios and many others. They are also called current consuming devices.

Very Good! How about switch? Who can give the definition of switch?
Very Good! So those are the parts of Electric Circuit. When we connect various components together with wires, we create an Electric Circuit. The electrons must have a voltage source to create their movement and, of course, they need a path in which to travel. This path must be complete from the EMF source, through the other components and then back to the EMF source. So class, Did you understand our lesson?
Do you have any question in our first topic?
Lets proceed to our next topic which is the Types of Circuits. The first type of the Circuit is Series Circuit. Who can define what series circuit is?
So how about the parallel circuit?
Very Good! The last type of circuit is the Series parallel circuit. Also as combination circuit, many real life circuits are combination circuits. If we put a switch in each of the branches of a parallel circuit, we can control each component separately. So class, did you understand our lesson?
Any question or clarification?
Maam switch is the means of control allows us to control the entire circuit operation. It enables us to regulate electricity. Means of control has the capability to connect or disconnect the flow of electricity from the source to the load. It usually comes in different forms, maybe a slide switch, push button switch, circuits breakers and others. The means of control functions in two ways; on or off.
Yes, maam!
None maam! Maam in this type of circuit, the components are arranged end to end and so the electric current flows through the first component, then through the next component and so on, until it reaches the battery again.
sMaam in a parallel circuit, the current splits as it reaches a branch so the current flows around both branches.

3. Application The teacher will call three students to draw an example of Series circuit, Parallel circuit, and the Combination circuit.
4. Generalization: The teacher will post different questions related to the topic discussed. Those questions have corresponding answers. The teacher will also post those answers in a rumble way. The students should pick the correct answer and put it beside the corresponding question.
5. Valuing: What is the importance of Complete Circuit? How can you relate it in real life?
6. Evaluation: (1-5): Write check ( ) if the statement is true and cross (x) if the statement is false.
