Course Description
This course provides an overview of the Exaquantum system as a whole with hands on training in
the Exaquantum/Explorer and Excel Add-Ins client access tools. In addition, course consists of
lectures, demonstrations, laboratory exercises, and question and answer sessions designed to
educate the student in the administration of the Exaquantum system after installation.
Configuration, monitoring and post installation inspection procedures will be detailed.

Objectives/Outcomes
Upon completing the course, the learner will be able to exhibit the ability to:

o Recognize Exaquantum Explorer and its capabilities
o Bring Exaquantum data into an Excel spreadsheet for spot values & trends
o Express the Exaquantum system configuration and data maintenance
o Create a basic Exaquantum Explorer document & use documents created by others
o Create and modify tags, tag templates and function block templates
o Configure Role Based Name Spaces (RBNS)
o Exhibit the ability to troubleshoot typical installation problems
o Perform database archiving, backup and restoring procedures

Intended Audience
All personnel responsible for the day-to-day operation and administration of an Exaquantum
system.

Technical Requirements
o Basic file/folder manipulation in a Windows environment
o Microsoft Excel
o Visual Basics Programming in Visual Basics
o Operating Systems

Materials
Each learner will be provided with the appropriate course workbook.

Requirements to Be Awarded CEUs
o Submit completed course Registration Form
o Fulfill financial obligations
o Fulfill the 90% attendance requirement by signing-in each day of facilitated course
o Fulfill the 70% or above overall scoring requirement on labs and projects
