Transformational Leadership by Milton Keynes Trading Standards


1. Trader engage in commercial practice which is a misleading action containing false
information - Unfair Trading Regs 08
On 28/02/2014 at Milton Keynes being a trader, engaged in a commercial practice which was a
misleading action in that its overall presentation deceived or was likely to deceive the average
consumer in relation to a matter in regulation 5(4) of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading
Regulations 2008, namely the existence of the product, namely a school campus and facilities,
spacious classrooms, well equipped computer labs, when this facility did not exist; the main
characteristics of the product, namely the availability of courses when the course had not been
established or planned; the nature of the trader, namely the courses as internationally recognised,
high quality teaching, unique collection of professionals, team members are highly qualified from
reputable British and International educational institutions when this was not so and the commercial
proactice was likely to cause the average consumer to make a transactional decision he would not
otherwise have taken and it caused or was likely to have caused the average consumer to take a
transactional decision he would not have taken otherwise.

2. Trader engage in a commercial practice which is a misleading omission - Unfair Trading
Regulations 2008

On 28/02/2014 at Milton Keynes in the county of Buckinghamshire, being a trader, engaged in a
commercial practice which, by omission, was misleading under regulation 6 of the Consumer
Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 in that its factual context omitted material information,
namely namely descriptions on the website of Everest School of Transformational Leadership Ltd of
22 Ascot House, North Third Street, Milton Keynes MK9 3LZ, omitted material information, namely
that the school would only arrange facilities/courses in the future subject to sufficient student
enrollment and the school was not accredited to provide the qualifications described on its website,
nor was it affiliated to any organisation that could accredit the courses, and as a result was likely to
cause the average consumer to take a transactional decision he would not have taken otherwise and
as a result caused or was likely to cause the average consumer to take a transactional decision he
would not have taken otherwise.

3. Offer to grant or issue an invitation relating to a degree award

On 28/02/2014 On 28/02/2014, the Everest School of Transformational Leadership Ltd in the course
of business as an educational establishment, did offer and invitation by way of statements on the
website of the Everest School of transformational Leadership Ltd relating to an award, namely
BSC/ND Health and Social Care, Final award Post Graduate Diploma in Bible Studies &
Transformational Leadership (PGD), Masters degree (MA) and PhD by research studies in Bible
Studies and Transformational Leadership, Bible Studies and Leadership PhD, Online Doctorate,
Bachelors in Law (LLB) which may reasonable be taken to be an award granted or to be granted by a
United Kingdom Institution and which purports to confer on its holder the right of
bachelor/master/doctor and may be reasonably be taken to be a degree.
