Samudra Manthan 09, the first ever annual

fest of our department was such an initiative.

It was a symposium of a lot of mind churning
challenges, informative guest lectures and
workshops. It was a two day event conducted
on 4th, 5th of March, 2009.
It has seen participation of eminent
personalities in this field and enthusiastic
students from colleges and universities from
all corners of India like Cochin University,
Andhra University, AMET University (Chennai)
etc.
We here at Samudra Manthan look at
our sponsors as an integral element of the
whole process and try to inculcate events

The Company will be given the highest priority in all branding done by Samudra Manthan. The name of the
Company will occur in tandem with that of the fest; it will be referred to as 'Department of Ocean

TITLE SPONSOR
The company will be given the highest priority in all branding done by Samudra Manthan-10.
The name of the Company will occur in tandem with that of the fest; it will be referred to as 'Department of Ocean Engineering and Naval
Architecture, IIT Kharagpur & Company present Samudra Manthan-10.
The in-house workshops held 3-4 months prior to the fest will have the company's banner prominently displayed.
The Company's name will be highlighted in all the presentations given by our team in the promotion campaign across India.
All publicity material dispatched to colleges and alumni will have the company's logo. This includes different types of posters, CDs containing
presentations and tutorials, invitation letters, notices, pamphlets, T-shirts etc.
The newsletters sent via e-mail to all registered users on our website will bear the company's logo.
The company will be given a slot on one day for one hour during the fest to give a presentation of any nature.
Publications by the Samudra Manthan Team will carry the company's logo and a special mention of our Title Sponsor. These include
information booklets and pamphlets which are distributed among students of both IIT Kharagpur and from other colleges.
All stationary, badges, certificates, identity cards etc. distributed by the team will have the company's logo on it.
Giant back-drops used during the events and in the arena during the fest will prominently display the Title Sponsor.
The venues of every event, workshop and guest Lecture will have banners of the company.
The Company is entitled to distribute promotional material during the fest.
The company will be given a full-page advertisement in the Souvenir, which is sent to all our past sponsors, potential sponsors, our alumni and
educational institutes.
The website will carry a one page profile of the company.
The logo of the Company along with the hyperlink to its website is given for 5 years in our website.

Much of the critical pioneering work in the development of ROV technology is going on
presently to perform deep water intervention. Todays highly sophisticated; capable and
reliable work class systems are routinely undertaking operations in water depths in
relentless search of energy beneath the sea. In this direction, we are conducting an ROV
competition where the participating team has to build a remotely operated vehicle which
navigates a path to reach the target, picks it up and comes back to the starting position in
the shortest time possible.
