Glass Expansion's cyclonic spray chamber designs improve sensitivity, and reduce washout times and matrix effects. All GE chambers are available with the revolutionary Helix nebulizer interface, and only Glass Expansion chambers provide all of the following benefits: Cyclonic design for best sensitivity and precision Helix totally inert Teflon nebulizer interface Minimal dead volume for reduced carryover, faster washout and higher sample throughput Pre-set nebulizer position Smooth nebulizer lock and release mechanism No o-rings to replace Precise ridge on wall for efficient drainage Convenient UniFit drain connector
The Tracey cyclonic spray chamber is Glass Expansion's standard glass cyclonic spray chamber. It gives the best sensitivity, reproducibility and lowest memory effects for standard ICP analyses. Material: Borosilicate glass Volume: 50ml High sensitivity and reduced matrix effects Physical reproducibility ~1% Active scouring of internal surfaces by sample Faster washout than older coaxial chamber designs Low RSD's due to highly accurate construction Positive stop for reproducible nebulizer insertion Application uptake range 0.2 to 3.0ml/min
The Jacketed Tracey spray chamber is made with an external jacket for the introduction of coolant for temperature control. Thermostatting to constant temperature helps ensure highly reproducible results and long term stability. Can also be cooled to suppress volatilization, allowing the direct aspiration of highly volatile solvents such as naphtha and petrol/gasoline.
The PFA44 spray chamber can be teamed with the OpalMist PFA nebulizer to form the highest purity, most inert sample introduction system available. There is a system to suit most ICP-MS models. Made from ultra-pure PFA - ideal for ultra-trace ICP-MS analyses Totally inert - impervious to organic solvents and strong acids, even HF Established Tracey cyclonic design ensures excellent sensitivity and precision Fast washout enables highest possible sample throughput Incorporates Helix nebulizer interface - no dead volume, smooth lock and release mechanism, no o'rings to replace Volume 44 mL
The Tracey TFE spray chamber replaces the old polypropylene HF-resistant spray chamber. It is made from PTFE (Teflon) which is more chemically resistant than polypropylene. The Tracey TFE spray chambers are specially treated to ensure efficient drainage and they offer better sensitivity and precision than the old polypropylene spray chambers. They can be teamed with the PolyCon HF-resistant nebulizers to form the ideal chemically inert sample introduction system for ICP-OES. There is a system available to suit most ICP-OES models. Made from totally inert PTFE - impervious to organic solvents and strong acids, even HF Established Tracey cyclonic design ensures excellent sensitivity and precision Fast washout enables highest possible sample throughput Incorporates Helix nebulizer interface - no dead volume, smooth lock and release mechanism, no o'rings to replace Volume 50 mL
The Twister cyclonic spray chamber features a central transfer tube which acts as a secondary particle separator helping separate larger aerosol particles from the sample. This reduces solvent load in the plasma without compromising detection limits. Material: Borosilicate glass Volume: 50ml Physical reproducibility ~1% Low RSD's - highly accurate construction similar to Tracey cyclonic, except with central transfer tube Application uptake range 0.2 to 3.0ml/min
The Jacketed Twister spray chamber is made with an external jacket for the introduction of coolant for temperature control. Thermostatting to constant temperature helps ensure highly reproducible results and long term stability. Can also be cooled to suppress volatilization, allowing the direct aspiration of highly volatile solvents such as naphtha and petrol/gasoline. Recommended for analyses of organics samples.
The Cinnabar spray chamber is a mini-cyclonic spray chamber which gives good sensitivity at very low uptakes. The Cinnabar's design and low volume is ideal for the reduction of memory and matrix effects and very fast washout. Material: Borosilicate glass Volume: 20ml Physical reproducibility ~1% Matrix effects 5 times lower than with coaxial chambers Low RSD's due to highly accurate construction Positive stop for reproducible nebulizer insertion Application uptake range ~20 to 600 microlitres/min Ideal for use with MicroMist nebulizers
The Jacketed Cinnabar spray chamber is made with an external jacket for the introduction of coolant for temperature control. Thermostatting to constant temperature helps ensure highly reproducible results and long term stability. Can also be cooled to suppress volatilization, allowing the direct aspiration of highly volatile solvents such as naphtha and petrol/gasoline. Ideal for use with MicroMist nebulizers.
The Twinnabar cyclonic spray chamber is a low volume spray chamber with a central transfer tube (or baffle), combining the benfits of the Twister and the Cinnabar. It combines excellent precision with a very fast washout. Material: Borosilicate glass Volume: 20ml Physical reproducibility ~1% Low RSD's due to highly accurate construction Application uptake range ~20 to 1000 microlitres/min
