1. Sergeant Ricker is a multi-talented and highly capable Marine. He is
highly motivated, extremely astute, and dedicated to bettering himself and
those around him. Sergeant Ricker has the drive to excel and the ability to
quickly absorb information in order to accomplish any task. He undoubtedly
possesses the qualities necessary to accomplish any mission set in front of
him with strong leadership, drive, determination, and smarts. Sergeant
Ricker is a self-starter who pursues correct courses of action, regardless of
whom may be watching him, while maintaining integrity.

2. During the time I had to lead him, with Marine Corps Communication
Squadron 28, Sergeant Ricker was handpicked by my senior staff and myself for
several leadership positions including Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge and
Section Leader. Due to his endless energy and hard work, Sergeant Ricker
became his sections most valued asset, and his enthusiasm and motivation
never dissipated no matter how tough conditions became. He inspired other
Marines and myself to emulate his eagerness and was the foundation for
boosting the sections morale during all missions and orders. Sergeant Ricker
never once lowered his standards or took shortcuts when facing a difficult
challenge. His discipline and professional attitude, along with unmatched
technical and tactical proficiency made him an easy pick for many Marine of
the month, Marine of the Quarter awards and meritorious promotions.

3. Sergeant Rickers quick thinking, sound judgment, and willingness to
persevere despite seemingly insurmountable difficulties resulted in
outstanding performance. He remained focused on the job at hand until it was
complete and impressed me and others with his unique drive, work ethic, and
humility. Sergeant Ricker is a prime candidate for any company or
organization and has my highest recommendation. He will greatly benefit any
company or organization that picks him up, he will be greatly missed as a
member of my team.
