vision, but they fuelled my desire and clarify my goal, that is to fight for the rights of every
individual.
With profound academic excellence, as top scorers for Chemistry, Mathematics and
Chinese in secondary school is evidence that I am able to cope with much loaded syllabus.
Earning the school ook!s "ward and honourable mention in national competitions like
#angaroo Maths Competiton and $outh Chinese #nowledge %ui& further reinforce my
performance. "dditionally, I was elected into the final round of Malaysia!s 'op 'en $oung
"rtists! "ward twice with self(learned painting skill.
'aking all science sub)ects shunned away many but not me, and I achieved highly in
the sub)ects which re*uire a stringent time management. Moreover, solving the *uestions by
first understanding, integrating information provided, linking relevant ideas and finally unfold
the solution, complicated or easy, deeply intrigued me. 'his bear vast similarity in legal
processes. While cultivated a systematic and rational mind from sciences, having a deft in
arts, I am able to think out(of(the(box hence generating innovative and practical forefront
ideas and keep ahead of my counterparts.
I am much trusted and respected by board members and teachers. I was elected the
position of treasurer in three clubs due to my credibility. +ossessing a high level of
proficiency and fluency in English, Chinese and Malay language, I was given the vital
responsibility to review my school maga&ine and identifying errors in articles prior to
publication. "rticles I wrote for school in the three languages were distributed to the students
as sample essay and template to follow for their essay writing.
"longside securing my academic performance, I am a good leader and teamwork co(
operator in out(of(classroom activities. I represented the school for netball competition, and
organi&ed events like ,amine -. Camp for my community. I converse with the members
proactively and always listen to their problems, hence encouraging them to blend in and
aspire towards our goals.
Working as a part(time teacher in tuition centers allow me to strengthen more
essential skills to excel as a lawyer. Checking through the students! homework, from
complex to simple *uestions is where my meticulousness can be displayed that even minor
errors in solution and wording are detected. 'eaching a sophisticated chapter such as
coordinate geometry can be challenging to new teachers, however, I am able to deliver the
syllabus in the way best understood by students using method comparison, simplification
and vivid demonstration. My students favored me greatly and still consult me for assistance
although I had left the position to start my form six.
My knowledge covers an extensive variety of field, from /ewton!s 0aw of Motion to
China!s communism , and especially useful in solving all types of legal cases. I engaged in
sports and )oined fundraising marathons. I benefited greatly from the reading of both 1riental
and European history, where I learnt mistakes and ethics to mould my personalities. My club
members always rely on me to be the collaborator in social events for my wide knowledge
and commendable communication skill.
Most remarkable was my determination and strength when facing failures and
disappointments. eing challenged with financial constraint, isolation and underperformed in
the beginning, I adapted very *uickly and succeeded in different approaches in tackling
emotional stress where now I aroused again as an excellent student and a loved companion.
In conclusion, I see myself as the most suitable candidate for degree in law
programme for achieved highly in academics, co(curriculum activities, communicative
abilities and all(rounded personalities.
