Students Awareness On the Advantages Of the Use Of Library.

Libraries is defined as a building or room containing collections of books,
periodicals, and sometimes films and recorded music for use or borrowing by the
public or the members of an institution. All schools and universities has their own
library for the use of its residents and members to search for any information
through books, computers, magazines and many more.
Apart from the schools and universities, some residential area also has the
library for the use of the public. The library is known as public library.
The purpose of building the libraries is to facilitate the people to search for
beneficial information, as a peaceful place to do revision on school homework, and
an appropriate place for group discussion. The library also is useful for the students
to borrow for books, periodicals and journals that they cannot afford to buy them.
The libraries also has many facilities which is convenience to the users. For
example, air-conditioned libraries, computers, rounded-table and closed
compartments for group discussions, toilets, prayer rooms and etc.
Based on the advantages of the library, the students has been encouraged by
the teachers to utilize and make use of the libraries for their own good in the
studies. This is because, the advantages of the use of the libraries will definitely
benefit them in their future. Moreover, the government also has plays the role in
the campaign of reading culture among the citizens regardless of ages and has
introduce the library as a meant for its realization of the campaign. Therefore, the
library is made for the public without imposing any underlying fees for the
entrance except for certain fees ie. Penalty for expiration of the borrowing date.
However, nowadays we can see the students are lack of the awareness on the
use and the advantages of the library. One of the factors is because, instead of
making the library as a medium to search for the information, they rather opt for
searching through the internet for the purpose. It cannot be denied that internet also
serves for the same purpose of searching for the information. Nevertheless, the
sources has different weight as the books, journal and periodical that the library
has is the primary and reliable sources as compared to the articles that can be found
through the unreliable sources in the internet.

need to us library wisely.
