1. Think about five cities in the United States or Canada that you would like to visit in the future. Complete the following chart. Follow the example. City Reason to visit Example: New York Its considered the capital of the world in different aspects: fashion, economy, politics, etc. There is a big diversity of cultures and languages living together in the city. San Francisco Its considered one of the cities more beautiful in the world. Famous for its stunning scenery. There is food of class mundial. Miami Its considered a city with the most beautiful beach and a very pleasant weather. The city has an architectural district in south beach that is called Miami Art Deco District. Chicago Its considered one of the most iconic architectural locations in the world. Also called the city of winds. Chicago offers many restaurants with every type of food ready to eat. 2
Los ngeles Its considered the most populous city in the United States. there are The worlds largest movie and television studio that is called Universal Studios Hollywood. Boston It has the Americas most prestigious university called Harvard University.Boston is an excellent walking city, with many of its ethnic neighbourhoods intact
2. On the Internet, search for different hotels where you can stay in those five cities. Choose one hotel per city. Copy a picture of a hotel room in that hotel and describe it in detail. Use the grammar and vocabulary we have studied in Unit 9 (there is / there are, furniture, etc.). Use different adjectives to describe the hotel room (amazing, quiet, modern, etc.). Follow the example below. Remember: Use your own words. Do not copy- paste.

There is a beautiful and modern lamp next to the big bed. The room is small but has a very homely touch.

It has a big window next to the bed with a beautiful view of the beach. There is a desk and chair in front of the bed and there are many lamps around to the room. There is a trendy couch in a corner of the room and in front there is a very big TV. In the middle of the room There is a large and comfortable bed. The room is real big and beautiful. 5

It has a big window next to the bed with a beautiful view. In the middle of the room there is a very large bed. There is a small coach i in a corner of the room and there are two lamps in the two sides of the bed. There is a small table next to the coach. The room is small but very beautiful.
