5 day live aboard course with meals and course materials
provided, includes navigation and night sailing. An excellent
course if you have already learned to sail and wish to step-up
to chartering larger yachts as skipper, sharing the fun of
sailing holidays with friends and family. Perfect if you are
considering boat ownership or just a great course to improve
skills and confidence. Minimum 2 students, maximum 4.

Because the Bay of islands is such an extensive cruising ground,
we require from our charterers a reasonably sound knowledge
of sailing and boat handling. We will spend some time
familiarising you with the boat, anchorages and navigation in
the Bay of Islands and show you the places of interest.
For the lesser experienced, sailing lessons are available.

The Bay of islands maritime park offers an area of approximately
200 sq miles of cruising, with over 100 islands to explore.
Theres an abundance of tranquil sheltered bays and anchorages.
Fishing is plentiful, dolphins and blue penguins are often seen.
From late december until mid March, water temperatures are
around 20-23 degrees and the prevailing North Easterly sea
breeze ranges around 15 knots.

Noelex 30 big sister to the Noelex 25, designed by Bruce
Farr. Fun, lively sailing. Great for two couples. Freezer, gas
oven, toilet, stereo. 12 hp diesel and dinghy.
Raven 31 large volume 31 ft yacht. Walk through transom,
Kauri interior. Freezer, gas oven, pressure hot and cold water,
shower, toilet, stereo, CD. 18 hp diesel and dinghy.
Comfortable, easily handled cruising yacht.
Equipment on all boats includes: life jackets, books/charts,
tide tables, cooking utensils, cutlery & crockery, pots & pans,
chilly bin, bucket, fire extinguisher, first aid kit & flares. In fact,
all the gear necessary to have a wonderful boating holiday.
All our boats are operated under the New Zealand Safe Ship
