A resolute and self-driven business intelligence professional looking for a job where he could
successfully implement his experience of building a successful ETL system and further develop his
knowledge and expertise in a sphere of big data. Having intense energy, eagerness to learn and
to deliver the goods, I am looking for a company which would provide demanding challenges that
would satisfy my appetite for solving difficult tasks and would push me to become a better

EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
ETL Developer & Release Manager,
EPAM Systems (Chevron Corporation contractor)
A key member of a well-knit team of six working on extraction, prioritization,
integration, and loading of data from a number of sources in the Gas & Oil
industry. We produce and load the Master Data into one of the Chevron
business unit's data warehouses

Main responsibilities:
Development, continuous improvement, and support of the ETL process
using both DataStage 8.7 for the ETL part and PL/SQL language to facilitate
the multiple Oracle databases interaction
Managing number of the Oracle databases used within the process
Dealing with release package design, build, configuration, and acceptance
including business sign off
Close communication with business users, business analyst, DBAs, and
application specialists
Preparation of all the necessary documentation e.g. Release implementation
plan, Test plan, Release Notes, Backout Plan, etc.

Compelling facts:
The ETL process passed on from the IBM team used to take 14 hours for
the Initial data load. We rebuild the whole process from bottom up and now
the initial data load takes only 1.5 hours!!
We eliminated a heavy Product Information Management (PIM from IBM)
software from our ETL process and replaced it with quick and efficient ETL
code, which is now saving more than 70K dollars for our client yearly
