CIVILIAN INSTRUCTOR – CSTC AGREEMENT

1. The Regional Cadet Support Unit hereby offers to employ the CI, and the CI hereby accepts the
employment as CI, for employment in the

at the Basic Incentive Pay Category rate equivalent to the rank of _____________________ for the period

to a maximum of 90 days on a cumulative basis per fiscal year unless terminated sooner as hereinafter
provided.

2. The CI agrees to accept payment for employment at the rate of pay indicated above. The CI agrees that
he/she will be provided with return transportation at the start and termination of the employment period. The
CI agrees that he/she will be provided free rations and quarters if he/she is required to remain on site
overnight. The CI agrees that he/she is not eligible to receive an incidental expense allowance or any other
financial benefits or allocations not specifically provided for under this contract. A CI may provide
voluntary support provided that, with the exception of the selection and screening process, said support is in
accordance with the terms and conditions of CATO 23-07.
3. The CI agrees to:
a. instruct cadets and conduct the work assigned by or under the authority of the Commanding
Officer, Regional Cadet Support Unit diligently and faithfully during the period of employment;
and
b. perform such duties and instruct in such subjects as may be from time to time assigned in
accordance with existing regulations, orders and instructions.
4. The CI agrees to abide by the applicable provisions of QR (Cadets), CATOs and other applicable DND /
CF regulations, orders, directives and such other instructions as may be given by or under the authority of
the Commanding Officer from time to time during the period of the CI’s employment.
5. The CI agrees to keep and maintain any material issued in a good state of repair and condition (fair wear
and tear excepted) and shall, at the expiration of this agreement, replace, or pay compensation to the
Canadian Forces for the cost of repair or the catalogue value, in cases where material is declared beyond
repair, for material issued that may be broken, damaged, or lost. The CI further authorizes the Canadian
Forces to receive and apply for this purpose, any pay or allowances to which the CI may be entitled under
Canadian Forces regulations, orders and instructions during the period of this Agreement.
6. This agreement will remain in force unless voluntarily terminated by the CI or by the Commanding
Officer for cause.
7. This agreement shall automatically terminate on the date the CI becomes a member of the Canadian
Forces.

1. Par les présentes, l’Unité régionale de soutien aux cadets s’engage à embaucher l’instructeur
civil et ce dernier accepte l’offre d’emploi à titre d’instructeur civil au /à la/à l’
_______________________________ au taux de la catégorie de prime de rendement de base équivalant au

cumulative par année financière, à moins que ceci ne prenne fin plus tôt, conformément aux dispositions
énoncées ci-après.

2. L’instructeur civil accepte d’être rémunéré au taux indiqué ci-dessus. L’instructeur civil convient
que le transport lui sera fourni au début et à la fin de la période d’emploi. L’instructeur civil comprend qu’il
est admissible aux vivres et au logement gratuits s’il doit demeurer sur le site pour y passer la nuit.
L’instructeur civil accepte également le fait qu’il n’a pas droit à une indemnité de dépenses imprévues ni à
d’autres avantages financiers ou allocations qui ne sont pas expressément indiqués dans le présent contrat.
Un instructeur civil peut fournir du soutien bénévole pourvu qu’à l’exception du processus de sélection et
de contrôle de la fiabilité, ledit soutien soit fourni conformément aux modalités de l’OAIC 23-07.
3. L’instructeur civil s’engage :
a. à enseigner à des cadets et à s’acquitter diligemment et fidèlement, durant sa période d’emploi,
des tâches qui lui seront assignées par le commandant ou en vertu de son autorité; et
b. de temps à autre, à s’acquitter des tâches et à enseigner des matières qui peuvent lui être
assignées, conformément aux dispositions énoncées dans les règlements, ordonnances et
instructions existants.
4. L’instructeur civil s’engage à se conformer aux dispositions appropriées des OR (Cadets), des OAIC
et des autres règlements, ordonnances ou directives applicables du MDN / des FC et à suivre les instructions
émises, de temps à autre, par le commandant ou en vertu de son autorité, durant sa période d’emploi en tant
qu’instructeur civil.
5. L’instructeur civil s’engage à maintenir en bon état de fonctionnement (exception faite de l’usure
normale) tout le matériel fourni; en outre, au terme de son contrat, il devra soit remplacer le matériel fourni
qui aura été endommagé ou perdu, soit rembourser aux Forces canadiennes les coûts de réparation ou le
montant indiqué dans le catalogue pour remplacer le matériel irréparable. L’instructeur civil autorise en
outre les Forces canadiennes à toucher ou à dépenser à cette fin toute rémunération ou indemnité à laquelle il
a droit en vertu des Règlements des Forces canadiennes, ordonnances et instructions pendant la durée du
présent contrat.
6. Le présent contrat demeurera valide à moins d’être résilié par le commandant ou par l’instructeur
civil..
7. Le présent contrat sera automatiquement résilié le jour où l’instructeur civil s’enrôlera dans les
Forces canadiennes.
