controversial one-child policy means that many
families decide they want their one child to be a
boyand take whatever steps modern medicine has
made available to ensure they get it.
Te trend is so prevalent that China has become
an increasingly sex-imbalanced country. Te most
extreme example, the port city of Lianyungang, has :o,
boys under age for every :oo girls.
By the time these kids are grown, their generation
will have : million more men than women. Science
journalist Mara Hvistendahl, author of Unnatural
Selection. Choosing Boys Over Girls, and the Con-
sequences of a Vorld Full of Men, says that, with a
combination of ultrasound and abortion, sex-selection
has claimed over :oo million potential women and
girlsin Asia alone. By comparison, she notes, .ius
has taken an estimated :, million lives worldwide.
One-hundred-and-sixty million babies killed, just in
Asia, simply for being the wrong sex.
Tese are the disturbing consequences of amorality.
In a country that largely sees no moral problem with
abortion, concerns of overpopulation gave rise to a
policy that has cut some oo million lives short, and
parents broadly and willingly sacrice their children
on the altar of personal gender preference.
A couple months ago, the Trumpets Brad Macdon-

He was second only to the Muslim

on public disapproval of Shaq and

many Egyptians feared that the

However, now it appears that more

n Corruption in the Abbas family?
New details have emerged on how
close family members of the Palestin-
ian Authority president have become
rich at the expense of the Palestinian
people and even the U.S. taxpayer.
Foreign Policy reported this week that
the latest charges have come from
Mohammed Rachid, an economic

ing charges of corruption. Rachid
claims that Abbas has pocketed s:oo

there has been controversy over the
excessive wealth of Abbass two sons,

T

day warned that nancial markets
face a rerun of the Great Panic of :oo8.
On the bleakest day for the global
economy this year, Robert Zoellick
said crisis-torn Europe was heading
for the danger zone.
Mr. Zoellick, who stands down at
the end of the month afer ve years
in charge of the watchdog, said it was
far from clear that eurozone leaders
have steeled themselves for the loom-
ing catastrophe amid fears of a Greek
exit from the single currency and
meltdown in Spain.
Te ow of money into so-called
safe havens such as UK, German and
U.S. government debt turned into a
stampede yesterday.
In Berlin the two-year government
bond yield fell below zero for the rst
time, with the bizarre result that jit-
tery international investors are now
payingrather than being paidfor
lending to Germany.
Mr. Zoellick warned that the com-
ing months could be as bad as the col-
lapse of U.S. investment bank Lehman
Brothers in :oo8.
He said: Events in Greece could
trigger nancial fright in Spain, Italy
and across the eurozone. Te summer

German city of Kiel and partly paid for by the German
government with nuclear-tipped cruise missiles. Tree Dol-
phin-class submarines have already been delivered to Israel,
and three more will be delivered by :o:,. Te contract for
the sixth submarine was signed only recently.
On Monday, opposition parties called for an explanation
from the German government and more transparency on
weapons deals.
Te German government has neither conrmed nor de-
nied the Spiegel report, which was published Monday. Gov-
ernment spokesman Steen Seibert said that the govern-
ment did not get involved in speculation about a possible
later armament of the submarines, adding that the vessels
were delivered without weapons.
Philipp Missfelder, parliamentary foreign policy spokes-
man for Chancellor Angela Merkels conservative Christian
Democratic Union, told the daily Suddeutsche Zeitung that
the Israeli government was solely responsible for the deci-
sion about how the submarines were equipped. We have to
respect that, he said.
In an interview published in the Tuesday edition of the
mass-circulation daily Bild, Israeli Prime Minister Ben-
jamin Netanyahu said that the German-built submarines
were very important for defending Israels security. Te
recent sale of another German submarine was an impor-
tant adjunct to our national security, he said.
Netanyahu stressed that Israel had never asked other
countries to come to its defense. One of the great trans-
formations in the reconstitution of the Jewish state is the
regaining by the Jewish people of the ability to defend
ourselves by ourselves against any threat, he told Bild.
While I appreciate Germanys concern for Israels security,
the most important assistance that can be given to Israel
isto paraphrase Churchillto give us the tools and we
will do the job of defending ourselves.
Merkels stated position is that the security of Israel is
part of Germanys raison dtat, or national interest. In the
past, the German government has always stuck to the posi-
tion that it is unaware of nuclear weapons being deployed on
the vessels. Former high-ranking ocials from the German
defense ministry, including former State Secretary Lothar
Rhl and former chief of the planning sta Hans Rhle, told
Spiegel, however, that they had always assumed that Israel
would deploy nuclear weapons on the submarines.

from German Chancellor Angela
Merkel and Russian President Vladi-
mir Putin have indicated.
Merkel and Putin, in talks last week
in Berlin, discussed the possibility of
doubling the capacity of Nord Stream
to include third and fourth lines run-
ning under the Baltic Sea.
Merkel indicated earlier in the week
during a summit of the Baltic Sea
nations in Stralsund, Germany, that
opposition to the project from those
in her country who fear increasing de-
pendence on Russian gas supplies was
waning. Merkel said the controversy
over the Nord Stream project has
more or less settled again and praised
it as one factor in ensuring secure
energy supplies for Europe, an ocial
statement said.
Putin also voiced optimism fol-
lowing talks with Merkel Friday in
Berlin, saying more gas via Nord
Stream wouldnt make Germany more
dependent on Russian supplies but
would replace waning current sources
in the North Sea, RT Television re-
ported.
Te Russian president said there
were also other potential customers
for an expanded Nord Stream. You
know that gas through this transit
corridor will be delivered not just to
Germany, but other countries as well,
with Scandinavian countries and the
UK currently negotiating, he said.
Te rst of Nord Streams two
parallel pipelines shipping Russian
gas to Germany via the Baltic became
operational in November. Te sec-
ond has been laid and is expected to
come online late this year. Together,
the ,,o-mile pipelines are expected
to provide ,, billion cubic meters of
natural gas per year to European users,
allowing Russia to bypass Ukraine as
a transiting country for some of its gas
production.

Te initial capacity to oper-

countrys legislators.
Te ambiguities are legion. Does the military have the
legal or constitutional authority to launch cyberattacks
against third parties without the approval of Parliament,
and, if so, under what circumstances:
Unlike physical attacks, cyberweapons cant be isolated
from their surroundings with the same degree of certainty.
If, as a growing body of evidence suggests, the U.S. govern-
ment sanctioned the use of cyber-malware such as Stuxnet,
are the authorities also held responsible should such cam-
paigns hit unintended victims:
Stuxnet caused widespread
disruption not only for its osten-
sible target Iran but many others,
including companies based in
states allied to the U.S.
Germany has long been known
for its Bundestrojaner (Fed-

eavesdropping malware used by
several states to monitor crimi-

In at least one case, this sofware was used inappro-

n Russia, China vow to strengthen

Russian President Vladimir Putin
praised his countrys relationship with
China during a summit of Central
Asian states in Beijing on Wednesday.
Putin said at a joint press conference
that the strengthening relationship
between the two neighbors is not
limited to the nancial sector, but also
includes international aairs and se-
curity. During a meeting with Chinese
Vice President Xi Jinping on the same
day, the Russian leader also vowed to
expand military cooperation between
Moscow and Beijing, which has steadily
accelerated in recent years, under the
Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Te strengthened relationship between
the two Asian giants has provided each
with a counterbalance against Western
nations as they deal with the ongoing
uprising in Syria and Irans contro-
versial nuclear enrichment program.
Tese events demonstrate the accuracy
of the Trumpets forecast of an emerg-
ing Russian-Chinese alliance. Expect
an even stronger alliance to congeal

prophesied to unleash their militaries

with more power than any Russian

enough external force.
But the strength of the intervention of that strong exter-

posed even by such phenomena as /::, Hurricane Katrina

O
i ov the qualities I love the most
about Britains royal family is its
tendency to inspire a majestic, unpar-
alleled hope. If you happened to catch
the moment Queen Elizabeth ii took
the stage outside Buckingham Palace
on Monday night to celebrate her Dia-
mond Jubilee, youll know what I mean.
Tis weeks celebrations furnished a few moments like
this, moments in which the pomp and pageantry created
the sense that something larger, something more special
and impressive than merely the celebration of the Queens
oo years on the throne, was permeating the festivities.
It was all stirring: the magnicent armada of boats on
the Tames on Sunday; the sea of red and blue, and ut-
tering Union Jacks that lled the city streets; the reworks;
the guards (and others) dressed in elaborate, quintessen-
tially English attire; the spine-tingling pierce
of trumpets echoing through Londons
cobbled lanes; the throng of patriotic English
singing, in unison, over and over, God save
the Queen.
But it felt as if these tangibles were hints of
some deeper, larger, intangible reality.
Tere were times even Queen Elizabeth ii, an extraordi-
nary, seless lady worthy of respect and admiration, seemed
more like a spectatortransxed along with the masses on a
larger realitythan the heroine at the center of it all. Tis is
not to marginalize Queen Elizabeth, her impressive tenure
as Britains queen, or the monarchy. Its just that there were
moments when you couldnt help but feel that something
greater than Elizabeth ii and the royal family was on display.
Something visceral, unquantiabledeeply spiritual.
You could sense it in the moment when Queen Elizabeth
graced the stage on Monday. She didnt speak, and it wasnt
the salutary words by Prince Charles. Rather, it was the sight
of hundreds of thousands of British, with millions more
watching from home, setting aside their disagreements, their
trials and tribulations, and joyfully, tearfully xating for a
eeting moment on their queen. It was the picture of virtu-
ally an entire nation stopping what it was doing and singing,
in splendid unity, with gusto and a spirit of patriotism many
thought was dead, God save the Queen, God save the Queen.
To fully appreciate what Im talking about, take a few
moments to read : Kings :. Here, King David, the famous
king of Israel, is about to die. Before he dies, however, he or-
chestrates the coronation of his young son, Solomon, as his
replacement as king over Israel. Following young Solomons
coronation, the people of Israel react with a magnicent dis-
play of loyalty and patriotism: And they blew the trumpet,
and all the peoples said, God save king Solomon (verse ,).
Imagine that. Here we are, ,ooo years afer Solomons coro-
nation, and we have a people still singing God save the king.
For me, it was the moment afer the Queen placed a
symbolic, large diamond in the cradle to light the last of
,:,o beacons that gripped my heart. At rst, theres an
awkward silence as the crowd noise dwindles and the Queen
looks on in anticipation. Ten, afer what seems like an
eternity, you hear the distinct, gripping introduction of the
greatest coronation anthem ever composed. It starts o qui-
et, but soon gets louder, and louder, and louder, till nally
the orchestra, the choirat exactly the same time reworks
begin exploding over Buckingham Palacethunders the
famous refrain, Zadok the Priest, and Nathan the Prophet.
Its not just the general scene, the music, the rapturous
crowd, the reworks. Its the words and vision. In : Kings
::,,-,, King David gave specic instructions about who
God wanted to crown his son Solomon. Take with you the
servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride
upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon. And
let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him
there king over Israel. Within a few hours,
it says in verse,, Z.uox 1ui vviis1

tament Kings had been . Turn, yet again, to the corona-
tion of Solomon beside the Gihon Spring. And Zadok the
priest took an horn of oil out of the tabernacle, and anointed
Solomon. And they blew the trumpet, and all the people
said, God save king Solomon.
Its all pretty phenomenal, when you think on it. Te way
Britain has unknowingly yet enthusiastically orchestrated a
scene remarkably similar to the coronation of King Solo-
mon in ancient Jerusalem ,ooo years ago!
Is this coincidence: Or is it possible the reason Britain
continues these traditions is because the British royal family
today is actually descended from King David: Take a few
moments to dwell on Gods promise to King David in : Sam-
uel ,. God tells the king that when thy days be fullled, and
thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed afer
thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will estab-
lish his kingdom. God is talking about Solomon. In verse :,,
God says of Solomon, He shall build an house for my name,
and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
You see, beginning with his son Solomon, David would
always, forever, have a descendant ruling as a monarch
over Israel! To those with an objective mind, events like
this weeks Diamond Jubilee celebrationwhich are lled
with biblically signicant symbolismprove a perfect op-
portunity to get a glimpse at the stunning royal heritage of
Britains monarchy. Ultimately, this is why grand, majestic
events like this weeks Diamond Jubilee are so inspiring and
hope-lled: Tey put the spotlight on the throne of David,
on the history-altering promise God made to Davidand
the vision of the future embodied by the British royalty!

Court Rules Its Illegal
for Christians to Re-

Same-Sex Ceremonies
CWN | June 5
T
ui Niw Mexico Court of Ap-
peals has ruled that it is illegal for
a photography business owned by
Christians to refuse to photograph a
same-sex wedding ceremonyeven
though New Mexico law does not
permit same-sex marriage.
Te court based its judgment on
the text of the New Mexico Human
Rights Act (muv.), which makes it
illegal for any person in any public
accommodation to make a distinction,
directly or indirectly, in oering or
refusing to oer its services to any
person because of race, religion, color,
national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual
orientation, gender identity, spou-
sal aliation or physical or mental
handicap.
Elane Photographys owners are
Christians who believe that marriage
is a sacred union of one man and
one woman, the court noted in its
opinion. Elane Photography denied
Willocks request to photograph the
ceremony based upon its policy of
refusing to photograph images that
convey the message that marriage can
be dened to include combinations
of people other than the union of one
man and one woman . Tey also
believe that photography is an artisti-
cally expressive form of communica-
tion and photographing a same-sex
commitment ceremony would disobey
God and the teachings of the Bible by
communicating a message contrary to
their religious and personal beliefs.

The Queens
Decaying Throne
AUSTRALIAN | June 7
I
1 is possible, on the Welsh borders
where I spent the Queens jubilee,
to believe that something of the old
England remains.
At the start of the reign whose ooth
anniversary we celebrate, Britain
was one of the best-ordered societies
in western Europe. Now, oo years later,
it is easily the most crime-ridden.
Unpleasant social disorder is every-
where; in many places, a virtual dusk-
to-dawn curfew has been imposed on
old people by the drunken disorder
that appalls and disgusts foreigners.
Our police, once a model to the
world, increasingly resemble an alien
occupying army, or fascist militia,
festooned with all the apparatus of
repression, who inspire fear mainly in
the innocent, and who are bullying yet
ineectual.
Te state of the country is parlous
in more ways than one. Large areas,
once industrial, resemble the So-
viet Union with takeaway pizza. Te
only private enterprise consists of
retail chains that recycle government
subventions to the unemployed. Te
middle class in such areas is composed
almost entirely of public employees
and professionals who cater to the
social problems created by mass un-
employment.
Even at the height of the so-called
boom, in :ooo, there were :. million
people claiming to be so ill that they
could not work at all. And thus the
British benet system performed the
miracle of causing more invalids than
World War i. For years British social
and economic policy has been to suck
in large amounts of unskilled foreign
labor while maintaining high levels of
indigenous unemployment.
Tanks to the state-funded and
encouraged destruction of the family,
at least a fh of children in Britain
eat a meal with another member of
their household less ofen than once a
week.
At the start of the Queens reign,
Britain led in more than one eld. It
invented the nuclear energy industry,
for example; but now, if it wants to
build nuclear power stations, it has
to apply for assistance from foreign
countries. Tis is despite the fact it
spends ve times as much per capita
on education as it did at the begin-
ning of the reign. Spend more, achieve
less: that has been the motto that has
guided successive British governments.
Te country has become deeply
corrupt, but in a typically British way
. Corruption and irresponsibility,
indeed, have been legalized: pound
sterling :: billion, for example, has

O
M.v :o, the Vall Street journal
reported on why there will be an
economic collapse before America
solves its spending problems.
One in seven households is on food
stamps. Another one in seven Ameri-
cans receives or lives with someone who
gets Medicare. More than one in seven
households relies on Social Security.
More than one in four has at least one person on Medicaid.
One in ,o households has a member relying on unemploy-
ment benets. Tousands more have members on disability.
Add it all up and .: percentalmost halfof America
lives in a household where at least one member receives
some type of government benet! Many households receive
more than one government handout.
And if nothing changes, the number is set to soar far
higher. Tere are :o percent more people (as a percent of
households) reliant on the government today than there
were during the early :8os. Te recent recession accounts
for only a small fraction of the gain.
Why is this a disaster:
According to author Durham W. Ellis, Greek historian
Alexander Tyler wrote: A democracy cannot exist as a
permanent form of government. It can only exist until the
voters discover that they can vote themselves money from
the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority
always votes for the candidates promising the most money
from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy
always collapses over loose scal policy . (emphasis added
throughout)
Not one administration since :oo has balanced its bud-
get (President Clinton included).
According to ocial government statistics, Americas
total unfunded liabilities (primarily the amount we have
promised voters in Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare)
is now over so: trillion. But the actuaries at the c.1o Insti-
tute, using real-world accounting practices that the govern-
ment demands businesses use, say the shortfall is actually
closer to s::., trillion!
Meanwhile, Americas total uuv (the value of all the
goods and services produced in the entire country for the
year) is only a little over s:, trillion.
USA Today reports that if the government were to actu-
ally try to balance its budget, the typical American house-
hold would have had to pay nearly all of its income in taxes!
Tat is just to balance the budget, never mind paying down
the debt.
Economic collapse is coming to Americawe voted for
it. Te only question is how soon.

1ui days of ancient Israel, God
was on the lookout for a productive,
diligent young man who could one
day replace Saul as king of Israel. Te
Prophet Samuel was sent to the house
of Jesse, where he was instructed to
anoint one of Jesses sons to become
the new king (: Samuel :o).
But as Jesse presented his seven
sons, each time God told Samuel that this son was not the
one chosen (verses :-:o). As it happened, Jesse had one
more son who was in the elds tending to the sheep.
In verse ::, we nally meet Davidthe youngest of eight
brothers. David was a pleasant-looking, average-size young
man who had developed into an outstanding musician
and poet. He was smart and physically strong, spending
much of his time in the elds of Judea and ofen sleeping
outdoors. He had developed a balanced and well-rounded
personality, even as a young man.
And yet, considering how his father overlooked him
when Samuel arrived, David certainly wasnt considered
the star of the family. But God was impressed with this
young mans heart.
Davids rise as a young man coincided with the decline
of Saul, who had lost Gods Holy Spirit and was being
harassed by demons. An individual in the kings court who
was well aware of Davids unique skill set suggested David
come play soothing music for Saul (verses :-:o).
Tus began a beautiful relationship that ended up reveal-
ing so much about Davids character. David was the right-
ful heir to the throne, yet there was not a hint of jealousy or
competition in the way he treated Saul. In fact, he became
one of Sauls most trusted advisers! As long as Saul re-
mained king of Israel, David humbly submitted to him.
Tis is why God chose David to be king. David loved
Saul greatly. He ioviu people. And he demonstrated that
godly love by his actions.
David worked faithfully to use uplifing, wholesome
music to drive away the evil spirits that plagued Saul
(verses ::-:,). To be such an accomplished musician at such
a young age means David must have devoted many hours,
days and years of his youth to develop his talents. David
didnt waste his youth on trivial things. He was an active,
productive young man who diligently developed all sides of
his personality. Above all, David loved people and strove to
live by the law of God.
Remember the example of this young shepherd boy. God
was able to take this young manwho few thought would
amount to anythingand turn him into a king!

T
wo urczurs of research indicate that our ecosystems are
paying the price for business as usual
Te loss of the planets biological diversity is increasingly
threatening [the Earths] ability to provide humans with
goods and services like food, water, fodder, fertile soils, and
protection from pests and disease, according to a sweeping
review of :o years of research by an international team of
ecologists, including biologists from McGill University and
the University of British Columbia.
We believe that ongoing loss of biological diversity is
diminishing the ability of ecosystems to sustain human so-
cieties, says Andrew Gonzalez, Associate Professor with the
Department of Biology and the Quebec Center for Biodiver-
sity Science at McGill University and author on the paper.
Weve reached a point where eorts to preserve species
and biological diversity might no longer be an act of altru-
ism, says Diane Srivastava, Professor with the Department
of Zoology and the Biodiversity Research Center at Univer-
sity of British Columbia and author on the paper.
Te balance of evidence reviewed in the study shows
that genetic diversity increases the yield of commercial
crops, enhances the production of wood in tree planta-
tions, improves the production of fodder in grasslands, and
increases the stability of yields in sheries. Plant diversity
also contributes to greater resistance to invasion by exotic
plants, inhibits plant pathogens such as fungal and viral
infections, enhances above-ground carbon sequestration
through enhanced biomass, and increases nutrient re-min-
eralization and soil organic matter.
As much as the consensus statements by doctors led to
public warnings that tobacco use is harmful to your health,
this is a consensus statement by experts who agree that
loss of Earths wild species will be harmful to the worlds
ecosystems and may harm society by reducing ecosystem
services that are essential to human health and prosperity,
says Bradley Cardinale, Associate Professor at the Univer-
sity of Michigan and leader of the research eort. We need
to take biodiversity loss far more seriouslyfrom individu-
als to international governing bodiesand take greater
action to prevent further losses of species.

THE TRUMPET WEEKLY
within the nation that has become the
abortion capital of Europe.
Last week, a series of events showed
that sex-selective abortion is also tak-
ing place in America.
Planned Parenthood is the largest
abortion provider in the U.S. Tough
it ocially opposes the procedure
(Planned Parenthood condemns sex selection motivated
by gender bias, it says on its website), its actions prove
otherwise.
Last Tursday, a bill called the Prenatal Nondiscrimi-
nation Act passed through the U.S. House of Representa-
tives that would have criminalized abortion based on sex.
Planned Parenthood actively worked to defeat the legisla-
tion. Te White House also opposed it, claiming it was un-
necessary government intrusion into medical decisions and
private family matters. Tough the bill had solid congres-
sional support, receiving a :o-:o8 vote, it failed to achieve
the two-thirds majority required for its passage.
Also last week, at least two dierent Planned Parenthood
clinics were caught on tape permitting if not promoting
gendercide.
Pro-life advocacy group Live Ac-
tion released an undercover video of
a Planned Parenthood clinic in Aus-
tin, Texas, encouraging a woman to
abort her baby because it is a girl. In
the video, a woman posing as a cli-
ent claims to be in her rst trimester
and asks if she can get an abortion if
her baby turns out to be a girl. We
want two. I already have a girl, and we want a boy and girl,
she explains.
Te Planned Parenthood staer counsels her to wait un-
til ve months into the pregnancy in order to be certain of
the babys sex, and then to abort if it is a girl. By that point
it would be a late-term abortion.
Te counselor even advises how the client can scam
Medicaid into paying for the ultrasound by pretending she
will carry the child to term. Tis is advice from an orga-
nization that receives nearly s,,o million in government
funding.
In a second video, a Planned Parenthood worker at a
New York City clinic encourages an apparent client who
openly says she plans to abort her pregnancy if it turns out
to be a girl. [H]ere at Planned Parenthood we believe that
its not up to us to decide what is a good or a bad reason for
somebody to decide to terminate a pregnancy, the social
worker explains.
A spokesman for the organization told Hungton Post
that no Planned Parenthood clinic will deny a woman an
abortion based on her reasons for wanting one, except in
those states that explicitly prohibit sex-selective abortions
(Arizona, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Illinois).
So much for condemning such abortions.
Te fact is that logically, the person who believes
abortion is ne has no reason to oppose sex-based abor-
tion. As Mr. Macdonald wrote, Morally, is there really
a distinction between ending a pregnancy because the
parent/s dont want a girl, and ending a pregnancy because
the parent/s simply dont want a child: Either way, the end
result is the termination of an unborn human. If you really
believe a fetus has no intrinsic moral worth or right to live,
then what dierence does the sex make:
In fact, that is exactly the argument made by pro-
choice advocate Allison Benedikt in this eye-opening
Slate article, Why Pro-Choicers Should Be OK With
Sex-Selection Abortions. Strategically, it makes no sense
to give in to this idea that theres somehow something a
little queasier about having an abortion for gender than,
say, for money. Tese are equally legitimate reasons, she
explains. One might make you uncomfortable in your
gut, but it cant make the movement hesitate. Because that
hesitation makes it that much easier for so many of
those other reasons (money, timing, work) to seem a little
not-OK too.
Also, lets just remember that we are talking about
fetuses, she continues. No matter how many ultrasound
pics get posted to Facebook, these are fetuses with female
genitals or male genitalsnot little girls and little boys. If
pro-choicers object to aborting because of the sex of the
fetus, arent we then saying that abortion is murdering
girls: Arent we basically arguing that a fetus is not a blank
slate but a future possibility: Tat is not the case to make if
your goal is to protect abortion rights. Gulp for a second if
you must, then get over it.
Tis is the logicaland dismayingconclusion of the
amorality that leads to abortion in the rst place: Abso-
lutely nothing must stand in the way of the free, unfettered
ability to end a pregnancy whenever and for whatever
reason someone chooses.
Where do you stand: Pro-choice is a euphemism for
pro-abortion. Have you taken a clear-eyed look at the
issue: You can read of the dark alleys that such thinking
leads to in our article A Chilling Peek at Our Abortion
Culture.
