INTRODUCTION:
Washing clothes is as necessary as food and shelter. Clothing is one of the basic needs in
our daily life. Without clothes we cannot make our living. In our busy life, of atleast two pay
cheques per family we are unable to allocate time for washing clothes. For this reason maid-
servants came into picture. Many hassels are being faced by the people during the course of these
servants. As a result, people tend to burst out: "I'll never let these Dhobis wash my clothes
again. The problem is, these servents are not punctual, demand high wages, low quality output,
e.t.c." Thus the business is all about setting up a Laundry Service which will cater the needs of
common man.
Target market are the people in and around the city of Hyderabad. Here the Competitive
advantage is that the entrepreneurs being young could capture and understand the needs & wants
of the youth and the needy. We focus on wide range of services in laundry at affordable prices.
BUSINESS OVERVIEW:
Company Description: It is the initiative taken by two students of a business school to target
certain needs in & around them. Value proposition & financials: An overall investment for this
business is Rs.3 crores. Current or committed funding is through family sources & bank loan.
MARKET OPPORTUNITY: Why is this such a great idea?
It has been observed that people are not satisfied with the available laundry services &
quality. You can make your life even simpler by availing our services online. You have an option
of asking for specific service through your feedbacks so that the service can be rendered. We
deliver, within minutes under clean and tidy ritual. Hence offering the students the food
according to their needs and wants is considered to lucrative.

How will you solve this problem? (i) Through Word Of Mouth & (ii) Intranet Mails. Ability to
create barriers to entry: (i) Good customer service (ii) Maintaining good contacts with people in
and around the campus and also networking by means of family and friends.
THE MARKET: Identification of customers: The students and other people who are in and
around the campus. The size is around 1000 people and we are expecting the figure might rise to
1200-1500 with in 6months to 12months.
MANAGEMENT TEAM: Founders and key management: The plan was initiated by Mr. Pavan
Kumar Bolla, Mr. Chaithanya Ammeneni & Mr. Vamsi Kiran Ganapavarapu pursuing their Post-
Graduation in a reputed B-School in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh; under the guidance of Dr. P
Ammani. They are Bachelor of Technology students(2012 pass out) in Information Technology
(Pavan Kumar Bolla), Mechanical (Ammeneni Chaithanya) and Computer Science (Vamsi Kiran
Ganapavarapu) streams.

The Salaries of the workers every year increases by Rs.1000. The Maintenance and
Ingredients also increase by Rs.5000 every year. Here a second-hand van is purchased for
Rs.400000. The number of customers on an average per day might increase by 30.
Funding is through savings (or by family) and a bank loan for the van.

FUNDING REQUEST: Would approach banks for further funds.
