IN the heart of the Towy Valley, near Llandeilo,
The Angel Inn at Salem has become a prior-
ity dining destination. The beautifully restored
inn offers a country pub feel with a quality
restaurant combined.
A delicious menu is available all day and
night in a classic country inn atmosphere
with log fires burning.
Now celebrating their first anniversary,
The Angel has enjoyed a busy year and
built an impressive reputation for good val-
ue and quality dining.
The Angel offers a well balanced menu
with seasonal specials, imaginative new
dishes and traditional favourites, expertly
cooked and with a creative flair for flavour
and presentation.
Locally sourced ingredients make a tasty
selection, including dishes such as braised
local lamb in a port reduction, locally-
sourced venison sausages, tender sirloin
steaks and fresh fish. Whether its a Sunday
lunch, a la carte specials, or pub classics,
meals are cooked to perfection. There is
also a great 6 menu available to suit all
tastes and its available all day.
The game season is upon us and the
chefs special blackboards will offer a
range of tasty options such a partridge,
pheasant and rabbit. Tuesday and Wednes-
day curry and pie nights are increasingly
popular and recently featured Fish Friday,
offering mouth-watering speciality fish dish-
es, is often a sell out.
Sunday lunches are served from noon to
4.30pm with a Sunday evening menu avail-
able to follow. Sunday Lunchtime Jazz often
complements the afternoons perfectly.
Children will find all their favourites on the
kids menu. The Angel is also dog-friendly.
Call in for a relaxing drink, leisurely lunch,
or a great night out. The Angel at Salem has
become the place to visit.
A large function room to comfortably seat
60 is available for private parties, weddings
etc.
A large car park, with room for coaches,
adds convenience.
@TheAngelSalem is now taking book-
ings for Christmas parties, offering a three
course Christmas meal for 20 per person,
plus an excellent Christmas day menu.
The Angel Inn is open Tuesdays-Sundays
from Noon to 11.00pm and food is served
all day to 9.30pm. All menus, special of-
