India and the UAE have signed an MoU to enhance cooperation in renewable energy
, especially solar and wind power. The deal was signed by Indias Minister of New
and Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah and Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, minister of stat
e and the UAEs special envoy for energy and climate change on behalf of their res
pective countries.
South Korean President Park Geun-Hye has ordered the military to beef up border
security to protect the country against potential provocations by North Korea.
