Abstract
'ass immuni3ation programs have proven to be a primar( preventive
measure to limit the spread of man( infectious diseases worldwide" 4urses
are trained to be leaders in preventing potential global health problems, but
the( are one of the groups with the lowest rates of complianc( in receiving
infuen3a vaccination" *ince nursing facult( are important role models in
molding attitudes and behaviors of future nurses 5their students6, we set out
to explore the knowledge, attitudes and beliefs of the nursing facult( and
their students regarding infuen3a vaccine decision making" 7ur stud(
included an assessment of the knowledge, attitudes and beliefs 5809s6 of the
nursing facult( and students related to infuen3a vaccination and whether
their 809s infuence the decision to receive or decline the vaccination" 0
cross:sectional surve( was conducted using an anon(mous ;uestionnaire
and our stud( indicated that personal experiences<either positive or
negative<had a direct e/ect on infuen3a vaccine decision:making"

to infuence decision:making regarding vaccination" &hile beliefs and
personal experiences had a direct e/ect on vaccine decision:making,
