Use transaction QS21

Select type of characteristic depending on its tangibility


If you can measure the MIC in a unit, it is Quantitative [Example, Kg, Lit]
Select 'Inomplete Copy Model' if you want to enter tolerance limit during inspection plan
Select 'Complete Copy Model' if you want to enter tolerance limit now
Keep status 1 [Release] . If the MIC is not to be used in future select the relevant status 3 [can No Longer be Used]
Enter the long text if applicable
Click here
If you are opting for Sampling procedure select the required option else keep it blank
Select the option whether you want the characteristic to be optional or required during result recording
No need to mark anything here, click here
Click on Quantitative data if MIC is quantitative
Since control indicator was set for Lower, Upper & target value, it is mandatory to enter these 3 fields
Enter decimal places you want the values to appear
If you can msure the MIC with relative analysis it is Qulitative [Example Okay/Not Okay, Acceptable/Not Acceptable]
Click on Catlog
Drill down for appropriate option
Selct the required option
Click
Save
Enter Master Inspection Characteristic, plant & hit enter
It is 8 digit alphanumeric code

Enter processing time for all operations
Select the operation & click here
Enter required MIC & hit enter
Enter relevant sampling procedure & hit enter
Eneter relevant Test method if applicable
Enter all rerequired MICs 1 by 1
You can copy MICs from other operation or IP
Click on header for next operation
Select next operation & click here
Enter required MIC & hit enter
Enter relevant sampling procedure & hit enter
Eneter relevant Test method if applicable
Select the MIC & click here
Change tolerance limits that are copied from master data if required
Save
Enter material & plant for which Inspection Plan is to be created
