SCOPE OF THE SYMPOSIUM
The 13
th
International Symposium on Advanced Technology (ISAT-13), sponsored by Danang
University of science and Technology (DUT). Co-sponsored by Kogakuin University (KU) and
Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST), will be held at Danang
University of Science and Technology, Danang, Vietnam from Nov. 13
th
(Monday) to Nov. 15
th

(Wednesday), 2014.
This year's conference is in conjunction with the celebration of the 20
th
anniversary of the
foundation and development of The University of Danang a regional university in Central
Vietnam. Therefore, the conference carries great significance and confirms the willingness to
cooperate in scientific activities of Danang University of Science and Technology-The University
of Danang with developed countries in the world. In this year, the topics of ISAT-13 focus on
engineering innovation for sustainable future. The technologies provide important benefits to
humanity achieved sustainable development in the future. The subject has attracted worldwide
attention and the issue become more imperious than ever as the engineering innovation is now a
global critical issue for developed or developing counties. As a scientists and engineers in university,
it is our responsibility and also the missions of the conference to contribute our effort for the issue.
ISAT International AI Programming Contest: Racing Al Coding (for student only)
In conjunction with ISAT 13 this year, The University of DaNang launches the event Racing
AI Coding. Contestants will be competing their engineering skills for games and the winners of
preliminary rounds will move on to the final round. Participating engineers will be able to measure
their skills on a global level through this contest. Please see the detail in Racing AI Coding file.

Test Requirements and Guidelines
for the preparation of paper for ISAT-13

The paper should not exceed 5 pages and should be a uniform manuscript typed in the
UNICODE font with size 10 on pages (190mm x 265mm), including figures, charts, diagrams and
reference materials. The upper indent is 1cm, the bottom indent 1cm, the left indent 1cm and the
right indent 1cm. The space between lines is single and the space between paragraphs is 3 cm. The
body of the article consists of 2 columns with a middle space of 0.5cm.

The following contents should be included in the paper:
1.Abstract: This should be written about 150 words in length and it needs to present all the basic
results and ideas of the paper. It should be followed by a Key Words section containing at least 5
words or phrases.
2.Introduction: This should reflect the current research conditions in the country and throughout the
world.
3.Solutions:
4.Study Results and Comments:
5.Conclusions:
6.References:
The references deal with only the quoted materials of the article in the following order:
+For the materials quoted from books, theses and reports, the order is arranged as follows:
The authors, publishers name, the title of the book (thesis or report), publishing-house, and
publishing year.
+For the materials quoted from articles, the order is arranged as follows:
The authors name, the title of the article, the name of the journal, volume (No.), publishing-house,
and publishing year, page number (from page to page )

The journal accepts only clearly-typed articles with clear charts and figures, in appropriation to
the text requirements. The authors full name, address, telephone number, email should be added
below the article.
