Dr. Mihir Bapat has performed more than 1000 spine surgeries at Kokilaben Dhirubhai
Ambani Hospital. The surgical spectrum encompasses all kinds of spinal pathologies
from degenerative, infections and deformities to high cervical and craniovertebral
anomalies and tumours.
Dr. Mihir Bapat completed his Orthopaedic training from the premier KEM Hospital & G
S Medical College. He continued at KEM Hospital as Specialist in Spine Surgery and
subsequently joined P D Hinduja Hospital as Consultant Spine Surgeon.

numerous International Publications to his credit. He has won the prestigious
Association of Spine Surgeons of India Gold Medal in 2007 and 2013, the Best
Publication Award 2007, The Indian Journal Of Orthopedics Best Publication Award
2012 and the Scoliosis Research Society Scholarship in 2005.

His presentations on Kyphoscoliotic deformity of spine have received accolades at
several international forums viz. Scoliosis Research Society, IMAST & British Spine
Society. He is the recipient of global outreach fellowship of the prestigious Scoliosis
Research Society.
