Laboring

John 6:27 “Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man
shall give unto you: for him hath Elohiym the Father sealed.”
False christians say “saved by grace.” They have this verse exact opposite.

John 4:34-38 “Yeshua saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Say not ye, There are yet
four months, and [then] cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to
harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may
rejoice together. And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no
labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.”
Entered into labors of prophets and Yeshua. Not a light thing.

Mark 1:16-20 “Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they
were fishers. And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. And straightway they forsook
their nets, and followed him. And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the [son] of Zebedee, and John his brother,
who also were in the ship mending their nets. And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the
hired servants, and went after him.”
Meat that perisheth: fish. Forsook that to do El’s will. False christian thinking—a “good” person is one who works for/contributes to
society, be a good citizen of this society./Early brethren were not very supportive of Roman society.

- All verses in New Testament about working with hands:

1 Thessalonians 4:11,12 “And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we
commanded you; That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and [that] ye may have lack of nothing.”

Acts 20:33-35 “I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel. Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto
my necessities, and to them that were with me. I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and
to remember the words of Adoneynu Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Ephesians 4:28 “Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he
may have to give to him that needeth.”

1 Corinthians 4:12 “And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:”

From experience, a brother has found that when false christians say “working with hands,” they mean making money. Brothers and
sisters work with their hands but don’t make money. In their mind, they may say that doesn’t count because they’re not making
money. Yet, if someone is in an office not working much with his or her hands, but making money, they say that’s work.

There’s no verse saying we have to hold down a steady job in society.

Acts 18:3 “And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.”
Only verse saying this. False christianity comes up with doctrine that says he had a full-time business going.

2 Corinthians 11:8,9 “I robbed other churches, taking wages [of them], to do you service. And when I was present with you, and
wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all
[things] I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and [so] will I keep [myself].”
Evidently not making enough with tentmaking to say it was a steady occupation. Philippians had sent once and again to his necessity.
Macedonia—out of deep poverty (“Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of Elohiym bestowed on the churches of
Macedonia; How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their
liberality. For to [their] power, I bear record, yea, and beyond [their] power [they were] willing of themselves; Praying us with much
intreaty that we would receive the gift, and [take upon us] the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. And [this they did], not as we
hoped, but first gave their own selves to Adonai, and unto us by the will of Elohiym.” 2 Corinthians 8:1-5). They had great grace,
wanting to share what they had.

2 Thessalonians 3:7-12 “For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; Neither
did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of
you: Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. For even when we were with you, this
we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you
disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by Adoneynu Yeshua ha
Mashiyach, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.”
Scriptures don’t contradict themselves.—We have to reconcile this with “no man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of
this life” (2 Timothy 2:4), “labor not for the meat that perisheth” (John 6:27).

—2 Thessalonians 3:9 “power”; 1 Corinthians 9:6 “Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to forbear working?”: had power to
forbear working. Laboring in the Word and doctrine, also do whatever labors are necessary in support of ministry. Not as false
christians have it: first physical things, then (if you have time) spiritual labors.

Hebrews 6:10 “For Elohiym [is] not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in
that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”
If we can minister to the saints, it’s a good work. El won’t condemn us on the day of judgement if we have just ministered to the
saints, searched scriptures, labored with souls. (“Let all your things be done with charity.” 1 Corinthians 16:14)

(“Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your
messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.” Philippians 2:25)

1 Corinthians 16:15,16 “I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and [that] they
have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with [us],
and laboureth.”
They had to have it, were addicted to it.—parts of body: “helps” (“And Elohiym hath set some in the church, first apostles,
secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.” 1
Corinthians 12:28)

Matthew 6:31-33 “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be
clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But
seek ye first the kingdom of Elohiym, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
This chapter is about living by faith—The just shall live by faith. (“For therein is the righteousness of Elohiym revealed from faith to
faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17)

What we should be seeking first is Elohiym’s kingdom.

Matthew 9:37,38 “Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly [is] plenteous, but the labourers [are] few; Pray ye therefore ha
Adon of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”

Luke 10:7 “And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not
from house to house.”
Preaching gospel is something that is worthy; “if any would not work, neither should he eat” (2 Thessalonians 3:10). “… if the
Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things” (Romans 15:27).

-Verses showing the work is the work of the ministry:

Acts 13:2 “As they ministered to Adonai, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I
have called them.”
Not tentmaking.

Acts 14:26 “And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of Elohiym for the work which they
fulfilled.”
Fulfilled the work.

Acts 15:38 “But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to
the work.”

1 Corinthians 9:1 “Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Yeshua ha Mashiyach Adoneynu? are not ye my work in
Adonai?”

1 Corinthians 15:10 “But by the grace of Elohiym I am what I am: and his grace which [was bestowed] upon me was not in vain; but
I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of Elohiym which was with me.”

1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of Adonai,
forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in Adonai.”

1 Corinthians 16:10 “Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of Adonai, as I also
[do].”
Philippians 4:3 “And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also,
and [with] other my fellowlabourers, whose names [are] in the book of life.”

Colossians 4:12 “Epaphras, who is [one] of you, a servant of Mashiyach, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers,
that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of Elohiym.”

1 Thessalonians 3:2 “And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of Elohiym, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Mashiyach,
to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:”
1 Thessalonians 3:5 “For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have
tempted you, and our labour be in vain.”

(“I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.” Galatians 4:11)
We can do a work in someone’s lifethey get burned…we suffer loss. (“If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but
he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” 1 Corinthians 3:15)

1 Thessalonians 5:12,13 “And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in Adonai, and
admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. [And] be at peace among yourselves.”
Their labor is worthy.

2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto Elohiym, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word
of truth.”
There is a lot of work involved; trying to live by it. People butcher it up.

2 Timothy 4:5 “But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.”

James 1:25 “But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of
the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”
Noah had a work of getting the ark ready—he escaped. Obedience. We have a work: look into the mirror, and do it.

1 Timothy 6:8-11 “And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a
snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of
all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou,
O man of Elohiym, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.”
If someone is reasonable, you can turn the tables on them and show them they’re transgressing. The reason they’re working—they
love money.

People say they want to be in a place where they can reach the unsaved, but if they were given the same job but not for money, they
would want to do something else. They want security. But, actually, the safest place to be is in Elohiym’s will—it can even look like
a very precarious situation—because the things which are seen are temporary.
