END OF WELL REPORT
OGBELLE-1 INITIAL COMPLETION

1.0 Executive summary:

Ogbelle-1 is located in OML-54. Drilled in 1980 as an exploration well to a depth of 13600ft,
was temporarily abandoned with three strings of casing, 13-3/8, 9-5/8 and 7 casing cemented
in place. The G, E, D sands discovered in the well, were subjected to DST tests after
perforating casing. Thereafter, the well was abandoned with several 6 EZSV plugs and
squeezed off with 4 cement plugs totaling 800ft in the 7 casing while the 9-5/8 casing was
abandoned with 2 EZSV plugs and squeezed off with 3 cement plugs totaling 600ft.
The re-entry objective was to attain a two string dual (TSD) completion with the Long string on
the E6.0 and the short string on the D3.0 reservoirs.
DWC-10 a 525HP rig started operation on the well February 4, 2005. After initial wellhead rig
up, the rig commenced drilling out cement and plug from the 9-5/8 casing. While breaking a bit
connection during a bit change, the derrick shook violently, twisted and fell. This rendered the
rig not operable. Therefore, operation was therefore suspended on the February 16, 2005 to
enable the rig Debris be cleared and another rig sourced to continue with the operation.
DWC rig 20 a 1200HP was mobilized and accepted to commence operations June 14, 2005.
The original objectives of the reentry were then changed to include the deeper G3.0 reservoir
due to availability of the higher capacity DWC 20 rig. The well was then to be completed as a
Two String Multiple (TSM) with long sting, selective on the G3.0 and E6.0 reservoirs and the
short string on the D3.0 reservoir.
The 9-5/8 casing was then cleared of plugs and cement to top of liner at 10093ft. The integrity
of the sealing on the top liner was ascertained by performing inflow test on it. Thereafter the
cement and plugs in the 7 casing was drilled out to 13290ft.
Note that after drilling out the plug above the G1.0 at 12920ft, the reservoir pressure caused
the well to flow. This was brought under control with a mud weight of 0.5psi/ft.
Logs were taken and the G3.00, E6.00 and D3.00 sands were perforated. After perforating the
G3.0 Mod D packer was set above the G3.0 perforations after which a straddle packer
assembly was set above the G1.0 to isolate it from the well bore.
Tubing size 3-1/2 was ran as long string, 2-3/8 as short string and the well completed as a
TSM Two string Multiple with long string selective on G3.00 and E6.00 and D3.00.as short
string.
The strings were cleaned up and produced to clean reservoir fluids. Established rates are as

2.0. WELL PROGRAM AND AMENDMENTS

Original well program is attached as Appendix I
Amendment 1 to NDPR-1 (Otari) well initial completion program.
Background.
a. Prior to the incident of February 16, 2005, the DWC rig 10 had cleaned Ogbelle 1 well
bore in the 95/8 casing from surface to 9340ft. After the incident, the DWC rig 20 a
higher capacity rig was being mobilized to continue the well operation. Consequently,
the original clean up program and completion design is being amended.
b. Similarly, all efforts to set the test plug in the DCB for the purpose of testing the BOPS,
prior to 16th Feb were unsuccessful. In other to prevent difficulties landing the
completion strings in the DCB at the completion phase, it is planned to inspect the
DCB immediately after the rig acceptance audit as follows:
a. Check wellhead pressures and report to base immediately, if any pressure is
recorded. Further instructions will follow; otherwise continue with item2.
b. Open blind rams. MU 30ft x 31/2 DP below a retrievable packer + safety joint.
RIH ondps to 3000ft. Install Kelly cock inside BOPS. MU landing JT. Set
packer at cica 3000ft. Back off landing joint and suspend string 10ft below
wellhead.
c. Lift BOPS and inspect DCB. If okay, run plug tester to check bore. If okay, sit
hangers in DCB, if okay NU BOPS and test. If not okay replace DCB.
d. MU landing jt. Unset pkr, POH and LD.
e. Continue with item 7 on the main program.

AMENDMENT 2
AMENDMENT No. 3 TO NDPR-1 (OTARI) COMPLETION PROGRAM
A. BACKGROUND :
Most of the challenging well bore preparation is the 7 casing. It is intended to clean out to the
G3.0 sand with the DWC- 20, taking advantage of its higher hoisting capacity. Be that as it
may, all hands must be on deck to achieve a successful clean out operation.
The greatest challenge is to ensure successful runs with the Rock bit without loosing any cone
in hole.
After inflow testing TOL, D1.0 perforations and suspected casing suspect 9342ft continue as
follows.:
1. MU 6 PDC bit . RIH to TOL Continue drill out cement from 10000ft to top EZSV plugs
at 10777ft. Circ clean and POH.
2. MU 6 rock bit and RIH to 10777ft. Drill out EZSVs and cement until bit dull. Change
bit and drill out cement plus plugs top EZSV at 13290ft.
3. Circulate clean and displace hole to brine, SG. 0.452psi/ft. Observe well for 30mins.
4. POH Bit assy.
5. Make up and run in whole 6 tapered mill and tandem 7 and 9-5/8 scraper to top liner.
7 scraper should be spaced 3630 ft from 9-5/9 scraper(TOL to TD is 3629ft).
NOTE: At TOL, circulate and rotate tapered mill across TOL several times and continue
RIH to TD at 13290ft.
6. Carryout well bore cleaning as per well bore clean up program (Attached). Brine wt is
0.452 psi/ft. Target NTU is 20 and solid content is 10.
7. POH mill and tandem scrapers assy while laying down drill pipes.
8. Carryout routine BOP test

Wire line operations.

NOTE: The D3.000 sand has not been perforated before. Therefore the exact reservoir
pressure is not known. Similarly the G3.00 and E6.00 that were perforated were produced for
only two hours each, the reservoir pressures might also still be a little speculative.
It is recommended that special attention be paid to the well immediately after perforating each
interval and monitored through the perforation operations

ADDENDUM 2 TO AMENDMENT No. 3 TO NDPR-1 (OTARI) COMPLETION
PROGRAM
A. BACKGROUND:
As a result of inadequate cement squeeze job on the perforations of the G1.0 sands which
gave rise to an inflow of gas from the reservoir, and subsequent well control wit 0.5 psi/ft mud
weight, it is imperative that we isolate the mobile G1.0 gas reservoir Thus still in current mud
mode operation will continue until the G1.0 reservoir has been isolated as follows:
1. Continue drilling out EZSVs and cement until bit dull. Change bit and drill out cement
plus plugs to top of EZSV at 13290ft.
2. Circulate clean with mud in hole of SG. 0.5psi/ft in and out with viscous spill. Observe

line to 500 psi for 15 mins. Bleed-off pressure to zero and then re-tighten the Tie-down
bolts.
SLICK LINE OPERATIONS TO SET PACKERS & TEST LONG STRING

RU the Flow head/Flow-TEE, Slick line BOP, and lubricator and test to 3000psi.
Pump open the TRSCSSV.

13

Note:
Pump open the TRSCSSV and keep in open position on the hand pump through out the
duration of the slick line operation.

RIH 2.75 QTT and set in XN at +/-12860 ft.

Fill up the string and lubricator and pressure up gradually in stages of 500 psi to
1500psi to set HS packer and GT packers. Pressure up further to 3000 psi for 15
minutes to test string.
If ok, bleed off pressure to 0psi as the W/L picks up the QTT. POH QTT.
Check GT packer setting 500psi annulus. If OK.

Note:
Ensure the build up/bleed down are done gradually and recorded.
Ensure C/line is monitored during the test at the hand pump(which should
be locked close).
Before pressurizing, fill up annulus.
Ensure the THS outlet valves are open before pressure testing.
RIH shifting tool and open XA sleeve at +/-9459ft.
POH shifting tool and RD Slickline.
Back off landing joint and install 3 NRV in the L/S tubing hanger.
