This lick is based primarily around the blues scale, however what gives it a unique sound is the chromatic
approach that happens on the "and" of 4 of the first measure. The thirds in the second bar thicken up what
could otherwise be a dull blues line.
The 16th note run in the first measure is a great exercise in sliding. Once you get your fingers sliding off the
black keys cleanly, it can be a lot of fun to play and you'll find yourself doing it all the time.
